In the past I have always Purchased the Business Tax Software locally and installed it onto my PC. This year NO ONE had the software in the stores. I opened the Website and tried downloading the product but the links kept sending me to the online version. After I finally got to the download page it had 2 downloads in my folder I hope I am not charged twice.

Prepared 1041 for a trust of a deceased relative. Cost over 200$ for software and no taxes were due. Pain in the butt and expensive. Can only use with window and I use a Mac. Should be a much easier way to file these forms. I have used Turbo Tax for 20 years, this was awful. Premium software should have been allowed to create this return!

I have used Turbo Tax for years and this is the first time I have used Turbo Tax for business. While it costs more than regular Turbo Tax, it seems to be the forgotten stepchild. It does not allow importing of 1099s, it does not give you a running tax liability at the top, and it does not seem to offer a lot of advice.

TT is likely the best program out there but it is far from a total solution for business taxes. If you're not familiar with tax filings and have questions regarding which forms are required for your business, seek professional advice. TT regularly overlooks forms required for my business filing. It constantly updates but seems to never be quite up-to-date with the latest requirements. If you have any special circumstances, seek professional advice - not advice from TT.

1. PLEASE ALLOW IMPORT OF 1099's FROM BROKERAGE FIRMS!!!! It is ridiculous that you charge this price and don't provide import, given that you obviously have the technology 2. Not all forms are provided for data entry (e.g., my return needed a 1099-OID) 3. Not all forms are complete (e.g. the 1099-INT didn't provide gui entry for boxes 13-17 4. Not all info was copied over from last year in my MD state return

I think that TurboTax is great, in general. However, you are just double dipping by making us buy both the Home & Business and the Business editions of TT. Why not combine the S-Corp/Business with the personal Home & Business? We need to do both anyways, and the S-Corp/Business edition ends up being a catalyst for a lot of the personal... especially if you are in a smaller Sole-Proprietorship one person S-Corp/LLC business. If you would just do this, then you'd easily get a 5* rating from me!!

In General, Turbo tax for business is a good product. HOWEVER, Intuit F's its customers not using updated or subscription versions of Quickbooks because TT will not import data from older, non-subscription versions, of Quickbooks. For what I do, it's easy enough to manually enter data but I still feel that Intuit's program is spiteful.

I have multiple TurboTax accounts and had trouble downloading the desktop verision. I used the online help and requested a call back. Within minutes Barry called back and walked me through the process staying with me until I was able to start my return. He was great!

This is not good. The federal works okay. The AZ state setup is a mess. A lot of manual work to get it to go through. Luckily I'm a CPA and know exactly how the forms should look but to the average user, this would be tough. I'd be better off doing the state on paper.

Turbo Tax insinuated they file your W-2/W-3s and 1099/1096. They don't file anything you have to print and mail the forms. Worthless I will now go reenter these forms again into the appropriate electronic reporting service. Thanks for nothing. Again. On top of that the integration with Quickbooks Premier is poor.
