For Intuit, absolute terrible customer service. The representatives that answer the phone have no clue what you are talking about or how to help. They have to put you on hold for every question and ask someone else. Then they put you on hold and don't come back, someone else answers and you start all over. After an hour and a half they just try to get you to purchase another turbo tax desktop (when you already have it, they just are not smart enough to help). Next time you actually call Turbo tax and after you actually get a human on the phone, she helps you in minutes! I gave 3 stars because Intuit gets zero or negative 1 and turbo tax representative gets 5!!

The US Federal Return was fine to file. The 2025 CA Form 100S was a major problem because the form was not available from the State of California until mid-February, one month in advance of the filing deadline. I could not access the form until Feb. 13, 2026. Turbo Tax claimed the CA return was filed correctly and accepted on Jan. 30, 2026. I asked their customer service team how this is possible when the CA form won't be available until mid-Feb, and they claimed it was because the data transmitted and the form's format was the only thing pending. I was able to download the CA forms I completed on Feb. 13, 2026. At this point, I have no idea if my business' CA state return was filed correctly. This software left a bad taste with me given I do not have confidence in Turbo Tax relative to the CA filing.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years with my personal taxes. Business Turbo Tax was not as informative or intuitive as what I'm used to using. I pretty much needed to know what it was talking about and what I was doing to even use it. Not for people with low IQ's that's for sure (mine was just high enough). Overall though 4/5.

Some frustrations with the transition to Windows 11 meant set-up was stressful. When using the pop-up window to add on state returns, the box to click to proceed is located too low on the screen to be visible if your computer has a toolbar/taskbar pinned to the screen. The window cannot be moved or adjusted, requiring going into my settings to hide the taskbar in order to proceed.

This is the second year I've had to fight the program with no support. You had an error in depreciation review, but no way to find out the problem was yours without digging through chat boards. Unlike the personal tax software, there is zero support or it's well hidden.

Did not give me the ability to upload and attach 8949 when I summarized transactions. Could not find the form it referenced to elect to carry forward NOL instead of carryback. 1256 Contracts form not part of step-by-step, and I have to manually enter gains/losses in Forms section. Missing brokerage link feature.

Not having an integration with turbo tax online where in the past you had integrations with turbo tax business is a disservice. To make matters worse, you have forced desktop users to transition to QB online. I certainly plan to find an alternative accounting software in the future.

It would be nice if I could attach supporting document such as brokerage statements so that i could submit electronically. There are problems with the program, if one selects a drop down box for a form and if one decides to remove it, the form remembers and it is included in taxes, it does not get backed out of the tax return. Pretty funky. When entering dates for short and long sales it is often necessary to use "Various" which is exceptable for IRS. But it creates an error in the program

Easy and straight forward as always. I think most people's taxes are way easier than mine, but they pay over a hundred dollars to even do personal taxes when they just have a W2 and simply want their money back. They only do this because they don't understand how simple TurboTax can make it for them.

Terrible program Have been using multiple Turbotax versions each year for the past 15-20 years, but this years was the worst When trying to purchase the state program, got a message of "Hmm... it looks like we've hit a slight snag". On with Turbo tax tech support for a few hours and it couldn't be solved. Still don't have a way to file state taxes. Will use another program without all these bugs from now on.
