Intuit SUCKS BYE BYE

I am done with intuit products this year after 20 years you have lost our support and would rate intuit right next to AT@T and Xfinity for the worst support out there along with products that dont work with each other at all and are not intuitive for a smart person. I would love to see one of your experts input on Q Books simple start because desktop is no longer avaliable and then elegently trtransfer your hard work over to Turbo Tax for S corp. YOU CANT DO IT

TurboTax and Quickbooks online, NOT easy

I am not happy that I cannot import from Quickbooks online basic. I was required to enter all items manually. Also, Quickbooks online does not permit review of tax line assignment. Don't like that Turbotax is trying to force use of live tax experts or pay for much more expensive Quickbooks version

Turbotax is easy to use

Was difficult using the download to desktop. Would prefer to have a disk to install for 2025. Tax expert Jessica was very helpful and with her assistance was finally able to install. Have used Turbotax for the past 7 years with no problems from a disk, but this year was a challenge.

Good, But Could Be Better

Some steps are confusing and require more explanation. For example, there needs to be clearer information on whether rentals are qualified business income or if the pros and cons and qualifications of opting-in/opting-out of centralized audit regime.

TurboTax Business - NO E-file for North Carolina

Totally unacceptable that the paid for Desktop version of TurboTax Business does not allow you to electronically file (E-file) the North Carolina Sub S tax return CD-401S with your Federal Return. I have been using TurboTax for Individuals since 2006. This is my first time completing a corporate return with TurboTax Business and not being able to E-file the standard Sub S Corporation (CD-401S) return to North Carolina is inexcusable. In addition, you cannot pay the standard Franchise Tax Fee through TurboTax either. Had to go through the time and trouble to print and mail the NC Return then go on the NCDOR website to pay the fee.

Federal is Fine, State is Confusing

Federal tax filing is fine, but it looks like I should be able to file my Arkansas tax return electronically but Turbo Tax does not support it. For mailing the Arkansas tax return, it's unclear which forms I need to send in. There should be a prompt to specifically print out exactly what you need to send in with the Arkansas return. I feel like Turbo Tax isn't making any effort with the state return. It asks general questions instead like I'm supposed to know what additional things I might need to do for the AR return. If you are charging additional money for the state return, you should make more of an effort to make it easy to file.

Confusing

The result of the depreciation for a replacement of an appliance is very confusing. I tried to input the replacement a few times, it gave me different results, depending on which page I navigated to after I input the replacement information. Also, I have to reenter the State partnership information again and again, although it is the same as the federal input and the same as last year. Why can't Turbo Tax transfer the info from the federal input?

fantastic tool for handling business taxes with ea

TurboTax Business is a fantastic tool for handling business taxes with ease. The step-by-step guidance, QuickBooks integration, and comprehensive deductions make the process smooth and efficient. I had an issue while filing, but their support team was quick to assist me and resolve it without any hassle. Highly recommend it for business owners looking for reliable and user-friendly tax software!

Terrible

I have used TurboTax Business for years but will probably not next year. The 2024 version seems to be riddled with errors such as checked boxes that appear with no means to uncheck them. The "out of balance" situation was one nightmare among many. My State Dept of Revenue and the TurboTax website both say I can e-file but when I tried, it said I couldn't. As a last insult, after e-filing my federal return, it wouldn't let me print my state return to file unless I first printed my federal return.
