Works fairly well overall all but lacking user friendly features such as being able to edit or change the PDF attachment(s) to be sent with the return when doing an efile transmittal. This is basic and should be an easy feature to include in the event attached the wrong pdf or include a manually created extension form. Also, pulling the plug on the program working with Windows 10 is an insult because not everyone upgraded to Windows 11 and it does not make sense to have to purchase a new computer in order to file taxes.

Purchased the 2025 Business desktop version and all forms I needed to file were not available (eg Form 8846). Was told by support that it was available online but not for desktop. How can it be that forms needed by the IRS to file a business return are not available in tax filing software package for business?

Please fix the VA State pass through entity glitch where it says EIN is wrong and do overrides in forms mode to fix it (only with your expert help). This cost me about 20 hours of time and anxiety and I spent two hours with experts trying to fix this!!!!!

I like TurboTax overall. I find it a bit cumbersome to use on the desktop version, but I choose it due to cost. If they were to lower the online version to a similar price, I would use that instead. The desktop version makes me click through different screens when I have a specific spot I want to return to, making it frustrating and wasting my time.

I am LIVID that the state tax form that I needed was NOT included this year, EVEN THOUGH it HAS BEEN included in past years. NOW, I have missed the mailing deadline and I WILL PAY THE FINE. Turbo Tax could care less if their customers pay the penalties for late filing. Turbo Tax still received their subscription fees from all the customers!! When my Turbo Tax subscription renewed in NOV 2025, I could have been made aware of this missing form and been prepared!! I am SO UNHAPPY WITH YOUR SYSTEM!!!

Your product sucks. the fact that you are in cahoots with adobe is disgusting. Why do I need to by adobe program to run the forms. You should have an in built system for us to sign right in your system. after all we paid you for the program. then why are you forcing us to go to adobe which is a nasty program. it says it is free but you cannot fill the form with free version. they force you to buy their product. you should be ashamed of setting up such a scam.

Overall, I like the questionnaire format of the program. I think it could be improved in the199A input areas and if sales of businesses were better explained. It was difficult to know how to get section 4797 to come up through the interview process. You could totally miss it unless you know it had to be reported. Also, with the asset sale, Form 8594 had to be created manually. I had to go to Copilot AI questions for many functions to work this year.

QBI update to eliminate the manual update of the QBI form is GREAT change from 2024 to 2025. This was an absolute needed a change. Now we would like you to update the Equity, Balance Sheet, etc part with more instructions and templates to help us fill it out correctly.

TurboTax Business interface and user experience have not been updated for many years. Things are often outrageously buried in different places - hard to find and hard to achieve. A lot of screens have absolutely no guidance or help, so unless you know the entire tax law by heart, you would need to spend a week reading to find all the information. Even using AI for help cannot ease the process much. There is no search. Clicking on the "Search" button opens a completely useless chat that is never even a bit relevant. If it miraculously finds a relevant topic, then the link to it is broken. In forms mode, where you eventually end up, as the step-by-step is often useless, there are fields all over with absolutely no labels or explanation - just input boxes that you have to figure out if you can. It is 2026, yet TurboTax doesn't see it as necessary to even make all states compatible for e-filing - I had to snail mail my MN state return.
