Great product. Two improvement suggestions: I buy and download the product, your website makes it extremely difficult to do this. I had to get a customer service rep on the phone to complete the purchase, and it took her 30 minutes to figure it out too. Second, when I got to the point that I needed to purchase the state software, the pop-up screen does NOT FIT the presentable screen, that is, the "BUY" and "DOWNLOAD" buttons are not visible as they are off the bottom of the page.

I have been using TurboTax for decades. For as long as you have been at this, your UI is abysmal. For example, when you ask "Do any of these apply?" sometimes you havce checkboxes including "None" and other times you expect the response via a button at the bottom -- and sometimes there are both. Be consistent. Your process for downloading updates is clunky. You ask questions about prior years when you should be getting the answer from my prior year return. When you find an error or mismatch you open a form in a tiny window and expect me to navigate that. When you take me to the Intuit site to buy something you don't use a regular browser window so I can't access my saved passwords. Your AI/auto-correct in this response text box keeps screwing up what I'm typing (dropping keystrokes and making other mistakes).

This year I have errors on several of the exact same forms (no changes of any kind) that I have filed with my tax return without errors for the last 18 years. These are the Asset Entry Worksheet forms (10 of them) that I first filed in 2008. My tax return to be mailed to the IRS opened in Adobe Acrobat with an error - 'incorrect pdf format somewhere in the file.' This is the tax return I will mail to the IRS. That is a problem. What kind of error? Missing pages? Incorrect numbers? Turobtax created this pdf.

Program changed all assets entered in previous years to "Qualified for Special Depreciation", selected 30% or 50% and entered "0.00" amounts. Assets were all originally entered with section179 deduction and never entered Qualified for special depreciation. I had to go back and change 3 entries on each of 33 assets to fix it.

Could not import data from bank. Errors are hard to understand and find problems. Does not total columns automatically. Does not fill in info from prior sheets. What it does is very basic. I'm longtime user of TurboTax for individuals which I find very good. This is far behind in comparison.

The desktop version allows me to prepare and e-file up to 5 federal returns for one price, making it much more cost-effective than online for multiple businesses. I appreciate the ability to switch to "Forms Mode" to directly edit and review the tax forms before filing.

I was not able to see the amount owed until the software was filing the Return. You had me buy a state return - is not required- when I went to print it was just a few lines - no forms, nothing to turn in! Expensive lesson to confirm something I already knew.

I have been using TurboTax for years. No real problems with the functionality. I have a problem with the limitations on number of returns I can file. I help out family. That's it. As they get older, more have to file. I don't appreciate the limitations

The only issue I had was figuring out why my balance sheet was out of balance. It was because the depreciation was not entered. I thought Turbo Tax would automatically enter (carry over) amount. However, I had to manually enter in order to balance.

I used it to file a trust return. It is very difficult to use. It doesn't have the same features to input state specific tax exempt income. I had to create lots of 1099 entries to get that done manually. It doesn't handle 1099-OID. I had to add that manually in tax exempt interest. It also has conflicting information in lots of steps. It said that I would not be able to e-file, but then it did it... It didn't print the attachments that it made me create, so I hope it e-filed them!
