Each year there is always a problem downloading the business edition. I was charged for the program and followed all the prompts but I kept getting an error message and it would not download. I called the CS # which is a complete disaster. The auto menu never has an option for this issue. It directs you to a bunch of other options and then hangs up. I called back and had to yell and scream 'REPRESENTATIVE" until at last the voice said before I connect you slowly spell your name. I speak clear English. No matter how many times I spelled the name, they could not repeat it correctly. Not even close. But somehow, they still connected me to the rep pool. I had to wait 20 minutes and was finally connected to a live rep. She was very courteous and walked me through several navigations that did not work but she kept going and at long last the program was successfully downloaded. I have Windows 11 and have had no problems ever doing anything with my computer but this happens every year. Very frustrating. One other thing. I have to include a Form 8453-FE which I am asked to print out, sign, scan and then Turbo Tax attaches it to the return. But for some reason, the copy that goes with the return never has the signature from the scanned download. I haven’t had a problem with the IRS but I wonder why it does not show up. If it is a glitch in their system, they might as well just include the unsigned copy with the return

Overall, pretty simple to do 1041, but as a Turbotax user for personal, theres a few shortcomings. I'd really like to see the center top Refund/TaxDue amount as I'm doing a Complex Trust 1041. Just feels kludgy to have to dig through the forms to find the amount owed. The 8453-FE form at the end of the process is also buggy, as I can't see my signature in the printout at the end. It is present in the Tools, but not in the PDF that shows all forms together.

Been using Turbo Tax for many years, both Business and Personal. They make it so easy to navigate around all the complicated laws, rules and terms. I didn't have to call support this year, but I have in the past, and they've been so patient while this very-not-accounting-savvy person tries to understand it all.

apparently, the IRS has changed the forms for filling an S Corp tax, and Turbo Tax is still using fir 1120S, then it says it's all correct and as soon as you e-file it bounces back and turbo tax doesn't know how to correct the issue and tell you to contact the IRS directly. The IRS will tell you to send in by regular mail. But then Turbo Tax doesn't let you e-file the NJ state because the Federal got rejected.....total mess

Interview for information pages did not retain information given. A problem occurs when the fiduciary is different from the grantor of a grantor trust. Had to over-ride information using forms - step by step would not allow the proper names to be input. Program insists on creating K-1 then says it had to be a partnership to generate them-- although they are not needed for tax filing.

Deceptive Intuit ads, difficult to negotiate, unable to transfer data from online Quickbooks to Turbo Tax. Any interaction with the subcontractors is pleasant. Ungraded Quickbooks is tpp loaded with promotional itmes. It's like singing to the choir.

The software for 1120S Return step by step has glitches or gaps in the request for data which causes the return to be inaccurate/incomplete. Also the Amended return process is awful with no place to identify "reason for Amended return" and no ability to resign the document. Also Amended return "appears" to be submitted without ever getting to the end to select submit with final page referencing original return and start of process identifying both original & amended having been "Return accepted?" All the above is after having to have customer support address why my software was unable to be opened (needed to use "run as administrator") and now my file disappears unless I open it a "special" way. I have used TurboTax for over 10 years and the last couple years it has been lacking in it's performance.

Finding the desktop download version was difficult. After I paid for it, the receipt page had an error. They charged my bank account, but did not show me where to download. After finally finding the download on their site, the download button did not work using Chrome browser. Had to use Edge to download it. After all of the frustration to get the program I wanted, it worked ok. Just wish it wasn't so hard to get the program every year. AND NO I DO NOT WANT THE ONLINE VERSION, I LIKE THE DESKTOP VERSION.

Turbo Tax Business for Estate filing was disappointing. It did not allow electronic transfer of doc from banks or investment firms like it does in personal version. It is not as easy to follow nor does it have needed explanations along the way. I would not recommend TT Business for estate filings Nor does it have the require state filing software. For the price, should have went to professional

It did take some time to locate the correct guidance, as many users appear to face this issue and the helpful article was not easy to find. Aside from this hurdle, the rest of the process was seamless. TurboTax Business was intuitive, user-friendly, and straightforward to navigate.
