It would have made more sense to design this with a cooking area that was half griddle and half grill. Now someone who wants a griddle, yet still needs conventional grill will have to buy both. What a compete lack of innovation and forward thinking. All you would have had to do is design it with a griddle grate and grill grate next to each other. Or...offer the grates as options when purchased. I have a small patio and don't need my grills taking up all my space.

Very disappointed in the delivery. The box was torn in multiple places. It was left out in my yard very close to the road side. Not on my porch. It's looked as if it was dropped while trying to bring to my door and that was where they left it. After opening, we found several dents. The cover provided with the grill doesn't provide much protection from rain. It left our grill soaked. We will, more than likely, purchase a different cover elsewhere.

Purchased this and not a huge fan.. first off it’s not flat! Mine all falls to the center bad. The sides get so hot when this unit is on that you can’t sit anything on the sides or it will melt. The cover WILL NOT stay on this unit! Not designed well. Would not recommend this unit to buy. We had a coupons and was able to get it free is why I bought it, otherwise I’d return it!

I purchased this last month and the cover isn't waterproof. The flat top grill is now rusted due to the water coming through the cover. This is completely unacceptable. However, it was a great grill, easy to assemble, but the rusting due to the cover I have to give this a 1 star.

Cover didn’t last in California weather. Wheel barring busted, leaked oil everywhere after two years with normal moving around. Never traveled. Flat top rusted with moist from weather. I’ve tried millions of times to look for a new cover. Nothing fit. Sad. Because I really really enjoyed cooking on this thing.

Purchased this griddle as it seemed like a good deal and came with a cover. While setting up, the last 2 steps is where everything went south. The side table screws were not tightening on one shelf because the screw hole itself would spin with it, so I have one loose side table. The griddle would not align with the holes on the top of the framd, so I had to bend one of the hole openings in order for it to fit. I got the griddle seasoned and turned it off, covered it for the day which the cover doesn't tighten and sits loosely on top. It rained overnight and I woke up to a puddle sitting on top of the griddle which, as you can guess, leaked through the cover and sat on the griddle. I'd return the item but it's such a huge griddle to move around. I just hope the griddle cooks well. I'd definitely recommend investing a little more into a Blackstone.

Can’t buy major items at Sam’s anymore. Horrible customer service each time you call you get a different story. Package arrived with some tape and damages. I should have not accepted delivery. Item appeared ok. Two of us spent 2.5 hours putting it together frame was bent so it wouldn’t go together. I called Sam’s and was offered a replacement. I stated I preferred a refund unless they would assemble the replacement a local store was offering free assembly and was told ok. I got a call confirming delivery I asked for confirmation they would assemble the new one and was told no. I then canceled the replacement. They won’t pickup the old one as it doesn’t either fit in the pickup vehicle or in the box it came in. Parts didn’t fit well. Buyers beware

The truth that noone on here is saying. The price is great. There is no support and the rear does heat far more than the front. After owning this for several months, it was a poor investment. In Southern humidity, the grill surface rust very quickly no matter how much you "season" it. The wheels make it easy to roll around, but the side shleves did not stay on after using them to guide the grill. I now has no side shelves and I am looking for a stainless steel replacement. I will look much closer and be willing to spend a little more the next time.

Griddle went together perfectly. Then came the disaster. The griddle shelves have these GIANT stickers on them that are the stickest stickers ever. After peeling them off there was so much glue residue left on the shelves it was unbelievable. I tried everything; glue gone, hand sanitizer, hair dryer, razor blade,hot water, scrubber, etc. After two hours i have hiven up! There is still residue. And now the shelves are no longer black. VERY IRRATATED!! there is no reason to have stickers like this. I would like new shelves without stickers!

The product arrived really dirty and dented. I was looking forward to it. But it arrived full of dirt and dented and will be returning it. The box was heavy. The cardboard was not the strongest for such heavy box.. I am a bit disappointed we were looking forward to it
