I want to love this griddle but it takes many attempts to start the thing up most times. I thought the rain cover was meant to keep out rain like it says in the description, but after a good rain last week, I took a peek under the cover and the grill top was flooded. Griddle is going to rust very quickly. Hope I can return.

Do not buy this grill. One of the electrode igniters will go out after minimal usage and Sam's Club (or the third-party call center) unfortunately makes it far more difficult than it needs to be to purchase a replacement part. Buy from a trusted local vendor instead.

This is the Best Fathers Day Present Ever! Bought this for my husband he has always put everyone before himself. He has never had a New grill. Our kids and I thought it was about time Dad had something New. Ok about the grill. I had it delivered. The boxes looked terrible But the grill was in perfect shape. No dents no scratches. It took us maybe an hour. My husband didn’t read instructions he looked at the steps ( pictures) lol It’s really heavy with the griddle top on it. It came with everything listed in the description. I would definitely recommend it. Don’t hesitate go ahead and buy it. See for yourself.

First off I love my flat top grill.. the only down side is I notice the handles were broken after I assembled the grill. I took handles to sams hoping they could replace them or point me in the right direction to order news. The lady at customer service assumed I wanted to break my flat top down and bring it back to exchange for another that I would have to assemble ( it's not that serious lady) May I speak to a manager ? Her response i am a manager ! Smh Has anyone experienced broken handles with their flat top grill ? If not I'm open to any suggestions to purchase news thanks

I received this as a birthday present less than a year ago and within 5 uses the griddle top has become warped to the point I can not scrape it clean easily. Nothing with stay where you put it because it will run down to the low spots where it has becomed warped. (Very annoying). I would highly consider another brand before giving this one a try. Other than that it seems like a solid griddle. (Which is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1).

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary and he absolutely loves it so much that he wants to cook something on it EVERY day!!! And I’m loving that! I’ve read the negative reviews on this griddle and it sounds like they’re talking about a different product! It is very well made, thick and sturdy. Cooks evenly and is easy to move around on our concrete patio when necessary.

My boyfriend assembled easily and was surprised the good quality for the price. I love cooking on this grill! I make 3-5 things at one time. I feel like I'm cooking like at Benihanas:) My family has enjoyed all the meals so far and eating outside especially after being cooped up inside with the COVID-19. I would add a picture but don't know how.

Getting grill lit is like a scientific experiment. Even following the specific pattern they recommend to light them it is random if it will light. Workable heated surface is about half of the grill surface and the grease trap location is extremely awkward. If I had the opportunity to return I probably would. I would not purchase again.

Really enjoy using the griddle. We've made hibachi at home, philly cheesesteaks, breakfast, and more! It cooks evenly and cleanup is almost a breeze. The only thing I would change is the grease drain. The hole is small and inconveniently placed away from the edge, making it difficult to scrape the scraps into it. I wish they had placed it next to the edge like Blackstone does. I still don't regret picking it up before Christmas for $199.99.

The griddle works great. My chief complaint is that it has a design flaw. The top is extremely heavy and slides onto the metal frame easily but has no locking mechanism to hold it in place. I put it in the bed of my truck to take on a camping trip. One turn and the heavy griddle and top assembly (including control knobs) slid off and landed in the roadway only to be run over by another motorist. My mistake for assuming it wouldn't slide, but the frame stayed safely in the truck bed where it was tied in and secured. This could have been extremely dangerous. I think Membets Mark needs to ensure the flat top secures to the frame to avoid calamity.
