My refrigerator is still not working properly. It still makes very loud noises and the ice maker leaks and only makes ice every now and then. I need to unplug it to stop the loud noise-that works once in a while. I have again lost valuable food in both refrigerator and freezer. I would never buy anything LG. I also tired to log in on the website but it said there is no record of me…however, I received emails and texts from LG

It was forty years old and had been a great refrigerator, but it was getting past its' time. It was making a variety of noises, but still working. I knew it was about at its' end. I got a new LG refrigerator and love it. When I first got it, I keep going to check to see if it was working, it is so quiet. I LOVE it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While our new LG fridge keeps things COLD as it should, we're having some trouble with a loss of 3 inches of height from our old fridge. That shows up in only 2 door shelves instead of 3. And there's no specific cheese-cold meats drawer; our old fridge had 2 lower drawers and 1 underneath the top shelf. So we're having to adjust HOW we pack our food in the fridge. The freezer is equal with the old one so no issues there. And the icemaker works like a champ. If you are purchasing this unit, pay attention to those kind of details.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge a year ago, and it was doing great but then it froze over somewhere and the fan stopped pulling cold air to the fridge, thankfully LG sent out a repairman to fix it and it only took 2 times for him to get it fixed. It is working now but I am still constantly worried it will break down again. The fridge itself is good, and does the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fridge was delivered on Feb 3rd. Absolutely LOVE it. Of course, the ice maker was a must have, and it works perfectly. Love the huge crispers on the bottom for fruit and veggies. Like that the shelves easily move to suit my needs. Both fridge and freezer space are very ample. For a "smaller" size fridge, I couldn't ask for anything more. It's perfect!

I bought this fridge when my last fridge (circa 2009) was making loud noises. This fridge is the same as my last fridge (different brand) except much quieter (although it did get a little louder the first few days). The shelves in the door do not adjust which caused me to rearrange the way I organized those items (including open wine bottles!), and there is no meat/cheese drawer which also required some adjustments. Wish it had those features but it wasn't worth trying to do an exchange and that's what I get for shopping on line instead of in person. The only other issue of note is the door opens VERY close to the floor so I need to be careful if I am barefoot. I can see the door hitting my foot. These are all things I did not consider when shopping online. It's not LG's fault - I just wasn't thinking. This fridge was highly rated by Consumer Reports and I am pleased with it. I also bought a few other LG appliances.

Just bought my first home! Brand new build! And I wanted a nice sleek but not oversized refrigerator, and this fits perfectly in my kitchen! It matches all my other appliances really well! Love the Led lighting, ice maker, and the fact that it’s energy efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent refrigerator if you're space compromised and can't get a side by side or bottom freezer unit. The refrigerator compartment is spacious, the freezer is a little tight, but definitely not SO small you can't store frozen foods. One thing I really like is how quiet it is. I thought my old fridge was acceptable, but when I got this I realized how noisy my old one was! Seems to be very energy efficient. Doesn't run a lot. My only semi complaint is that the bottom door is long. You have to move your feet out of the way when you open the door as it won't go over your feet. A minor issue. All in all a good energy star rated appliance that looks good and works fine and costs half of some "modern" refrigerators on the market.

Wanted to see if ice cream was hard in freezer and power usage since some of the time it's on batteries. Impressed! So far so good. Everthing works fine and unit uses high quality durable pieces inside.
