It was forty years old and had been a great refrigerator, but it was getting past its' time. It was making a variety of noises, but still working. I knew it was about at its' end. I got a new LG refrigerator and love it. When I first got it, I keep going to check to see if it was working, it is so quiet. I LOVE it.

I love the ice maker, it's just the right size so it doesn't take a lot of room out of thr freezer. The fridge is smaller than my previous one but it holds so much! That was a good surprise. The stainless steel exterior brightens the kitchen. The light in the fridge is bright making it easy to see what is in the fridge. This was a good buy.

Just bought my first home! Brand new build! And I wanted a nice sleek but not oversized refrigerator, and this fits perfectly in my kitchen! It matches all my other appliances really well! Love the Led lighting, ice maker, and the fact that it’s energy efficient!

Our criteria was a refrigerator that was readily available and one that would fit within our available space. This unit fit the criteria so we went with it. Functions well with two draw backs. 1- it is deeper than most, so it is a stretch to reach to the back of the unit. 2- not enough drawers and compartments for small items. Had to buy containers to store smaller items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my LG refrigerator for 3 months, and have been pleased with it. I like the size, and the inside layout and storage space. However, I miss having a drawer for cheeses and lunch meats/bacon, as my old fridge had. Also, the doors are hard to close without actually pushing them, i.e. not lightly pushing them. I assume they will loosen up with time, but I have thought the door was shut and walked out of the kitchen, only to comeback and see the door still standing open. I still recommend this item, and am glad I purchased it.

Bought this in February 2026 and now it is hardly cooling. Thermometer registers 49-51 degrees. Called for warranty repair Aa week ago and still haven't been able to get a repairman here to fix it. Call and talked to CS twice now with no good answer. I do think that this will be my last LG product. Very very poor CS

After 1 year it quit working. Didn't get the extended warranty the parts that went out the fan motor were not covered had to pay an appliance repairman to come out had to order the parts that were on back order and I'm still waiting still owe $700 on my credit card on the refrigerator.

I bought this product not quite a year ago and a technician has come out 3 times to fix it along with ordering new parts! My fridge is still not cooling and I’ve had to throw my food away! I’ve been without a fridge for 3 weeks now, waiting for LG to send out a different technician! This is unacceptable for a fairly new refrigerator, not to mention expensive having to order takeout!! HELP!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent refrigerator if you're space compromised and can't get a side by side or bottom freezer unit. The refrigerator compartment is spacious, the freezer is a little tight, but definitely not SO small you can't store frozen foods. One thing I really like is how quiet it is. I thought my old fridge was acceptable, but when I got this I realized how noisy my old one was! Seems to be very energy efficient. Doesn't run a lot. My only semi complaint is that the bottom door is long. You have to move your feet out of the way when you open the door as it won't go over your feet. A minor issue. All in all a good energy star rated appliance that looks good and works fine and costs half of some "modern" refrigerators on the market.
