[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll preface this by saying that I am a creature of habit so learning a new product always gives me some trouble. While I fully acknowledge that navigating it will become easier with time, I do feel like getting past the initial kinks was annoying. I found myself comparing it to my previous, very old and one function only robot vacuum- this one does not have a handle to help with moving it and it got stuck trying to return to its dock because it didn’t realize there was a wall in between it and the dock. That being said, I do appreciate the self-emptying feature - while quite loud, it’s a peace of mind for someone who would forget to empty their vacuum and then wonder why it wasn’t working as well. The ability to engage the mopping feature is a plus, and I’m sure will be more helpful once I get the mapping to work correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I genuinely love this 2 in 1. There are pros and cons but the simplicity and convenience alone outweigh the cons. To start, the packaging was simple and well done. It wasn’t hard to get everything out, no styrofoam covering the room, and very few pieces to manage. Setup took 5 minutes! Plug in the base, set the dock, attach the little side brush and dock the vacuum. The app is easy to use with a friendly UI and took no time at all connecting the vacuum to Wi-Fi. I really love the mapping feature. It takes a bit to set up to map your home and it’s not good with smaller objects, so just be sure to clear the floor of any toddler leftovers first! You can schedule cleanings, tell it when and where to vacuum and you can mark out carpeted areas for it to avoid when mopping. I have many toddlers and 2 cats, and this vacuum is a dream! It cuts down on daily sweeping on my tile and keeps the floors in the bedrooms clean and tidy, just be mindful of legos! The biggest draw back is swapping out the dust bin for the mop bucket, and clearing the water afterwards. You have to reset the device each time you decide to switch between mopping and vacuuming. I mostly just leave it to the vacuum for convenience sake, but on deep clean days, being able to have it mop a specified area (like the kitchen) after I move onto a different area makes it convenient! I would highly recommend this as a vacuum alone but despite some of the drawbacks of the mopping, it’s well worth the buy!

Here are the negatives. It's loud. The app is slow, clunky, and frustrating to use. You can't see the vacuum progress in the app. There are literally no instructions or manual or any kind. This model doesn't even show up on Shark's website. Gets lost sometimes and can't find it's way back to the dock. And this is just say 2 after purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was super protected there’s no way it will arrive broken or missing parts I previously had shark vacuum but not the 2 in 1, and I’m loving it is so easy to use to charge cleans very well the mop option it’s amazing you can control cleaning time from the app and it comes with extra mop and cleaning liquid.

It is so easy to fill it up and let it sweep and mop at the same time between my more intensive cleaning sessions to help keep my house maintained throughout busy weeks. The only thing I would change is a way to use just the vacuum feature without having to change the attachment, but I understand that the machine can’t just vacuum with the mop pad intact. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

It cleans quite well, but I did run the home mapping feature a few times until I felt it cleaned the most trafficked areas sufficiently. I definitely like the feature of setting “no go” areas. It’s super convenient and is a great way to avoid areas with lots of cords or other obstacles (like my immediate desk area in my office). I do still use my steam mop but the mop feature is also a nice way to cut down on the number of deep cleanings needed for my tile and laminate flooring in the kitchen and bath. This beats my prior Amazon robot vacuum by MILES.

Boy was he wrong. Imagine my excitement when I was chosen to test this. Not only does it vacuum, but it mops too! Assembling the unit was a breeze, with just a few pieces to put together. To be honest, removing the protective plastic and stickers took more time than assembly. The process of downloading the app and pairing the unit was straightforward, and it provided clear step-by-step instructions along with troubleshooting assistance if any issues arose. They even allow you to name your new robot. So cute. I did have to map my home twice to ensure an accurate cleaning area. During the initial run, the vacuum got stuck in a few spots and missed a small area. However, once the complete scan of my home was achieved, it became incredibly convenient. I can program it to clean the entire house or focus on specific rooms since I have them mapped. The app even allowed me to select the cleaning intensity. You can also place the unit in a particular area and use it for spot cleaning purposes. Emptying the bin and cleaning the filters are a simple process. And though I haven't used it myself,  you can pair your vacuum with Alexa or Google devices to use the voice control features. It truly is such a time-saver. I definitely recommend you purchase this if you're looking for a new vacuum or wish to upgrade your current vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously owned a Roomba, but the Shark Matrix is on another level. It works impressively well on carpet and works even better on wood/tile floors. It picks up pretty much all the dust (other than edges next to walls and corners, like any other robot vacuum) and it’s quite quiet. I haven’t tried the wet feature yet, but the vacuum function impressed me. I love that you can start and stop it from the app and the app also notifies you if any errors (so you can be in another room and know if it stops so you can reset it). I also like that I don’t have to empty it every time since it releases the dust into the dock. Would buy time and time again!
