Suction is not strong enough, feels like i get half a much nasal cleansing than what i get from traditional neti pot. If i had know i had to use a certain pod for saline this item would still be sitting on the shelf at Sam's club. My nasal passages seem to be the reason this doesn't work right and I've tried every suggestion yet nothing changes the feeling that I'm stopped up with congestion.

This product is awkward, difficult to use and requires assembly %26 disassembly for each use. It did remove mucus from my nasal passages but pushed remaining mucus back up into the sinuses so that I felt even more blocked after use. With each use before %26 after you need to rinse the mechanism - this requires removing the top plastic guard. This is to prevent salt particles from blocking the mechanism. You also need to use a new salt pack with each use or it won't turn on. Batteries are difficult to remove (requiring a screwdriver plus wedging) Batteries are short-lived. The machine is bulky to hold and must be held level to function properly. I have owned this for several months %26 consider the money wasted.

I love my navage. I have had it for about 2 years. I kept getting sinus infections, and since I started using this product, it has reduced the number of sinus infections I was getting. Unfortunately, it recently stopped working and I'm not sure why. I replaced the batteries as the previous ones were getting weak. When I put in new batteries, it wouldn't work. I tried two salt pods, pushed in the button and nothing happened. I tried to find information on the Navage Web site to troubleshoot this issue, but I couldn't find anything to assist me. If anyone has some suggestions on how to get it working again, I would appreciate it.

To whom it my concernI would like to comment on one of the best purchases I have made for myself in a long time. I have always had issues with nasal clogging, itching and allergies. I was always very protective of putting things in my nose to help clear the debris to help me breath. I have heard the commercials many times on the radio but I just could not bring myself to purchase something that would pump water up my nose for I was afraid of having the water go down my lungs. It was not until a friend of mine told me had bought the Navage irrigation system and how it changed his life. Of course, the first couple of times I used it I got just a tiny bit of water in my mouth but nothing down my lungs, what a relief. I then mastered it, and nothing now goes in my mouth at all. I was shocked on how much mucus and tiny particles I saw floating in the catch basin. I set it up to enter the right nostril that night and then the left in the morning so I could clean my sinuses both ways. I was amazed on how well I could breath all day, that night I repeated the process and found how incredibly well I slept and was also told I did not snore. I also noticed my nose had not itched all day as it would have if I had not used the Navage, this was always embarrassing touching my nose all day. This product was a little intimidating at first, but the instructions are very clear and easy to understand. After getting everything ready to use, the actual process of flushing out my nose went very quickly and my nose felt wonderful afterwards. Clean up of this product is a little time consuming and tedious, but again the directions are clear and make it easy to do. It would be nice to have some kind of funnel included with the kit to help with adding water to the machine without spilling it.

Nasal washes have come so far from the netti pot days! This thing is fantastic! It's very simple to use and takes away all the mess of a normal rinse. Setup is easy, and I love that it's a whole kit-everything you need including a storage/travel bag.
