I've used this packing tape to hold together very heavy boxes that were almost disintegrating. Book Fair Returns for a school. Weve also used it to reinforcethe covers of heavily used reference materials. I also use it for at home lamination of cards and art projects.

Also the tape stops from sticking back to roll and having to find the end. No extra cutting tools needed. 3m gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when we moved and i loved it.It held the boxes together and was easy for my younger children to use ages 10 and 8.It was perfect size to seal each box and stayed smooth after it was put on the box.I had many heavy boxes and never had a problem using this tape.i hope we are not moving anytime soon,i recommended this to my Mother N law since she is moving and she has LOTS of Antiques and she is using this as well and is really pleased with it!!!

I have been in the packing business most of my life, and this tape is the worst tape I have ever used. I pack a box and 10 minutes later ALL your tape has pulled away from the box. What over priced crud. Nothing like doing twice the work when you already have enough to do when packing a house. Don't waste your $ on this stuff!

I use this tape at work ALL THE TIME & ITS GREAT. I am a pkg. Handler at one of the largest shipping companies in the world & if it wasn't for this tape, our delivery drivers would have terrible days because of companies who do not use this kind of tape and in the process off shipping their boxes start to break open , resulting in the contents getting lost of damaged in the process, which makes for unhappy delivery drivers as well as unhappy customers. No bueno when customers don't receive all they were expecting because of other ineffective tape used to close packages. Scotch brand packaging tape is the BEST!!! I always keep a plastic garbage bag in a closet ready to be filled. When my grandchildrens birthdays or Christmas is near, I am ready to send their gifts on the way that will arrive unbroken. There is nothing better than Scotch High Performance packing tape to seal my boxes. I moved recently and can honestly say the packing tape held up better than the expensive purchased boxes.

My only complaint is that Scotch(R) High Performance Packaging Tape wasn't available sooner--it would have certainly saved me a lot of time, headaches, and frustation!

I ordered the six pack of the tape in the dispensers. First, I have never figured out (using for years) how to easily get that little piece of cardboard out that gets stuck in the way of the blade. But the tape I just received, the tape is actually installed backwards! Yes, it was easy to take it off and turn it around, but really - who put it together!
