[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When ever you recive an order in the mail, save the foam peanuts. They will come in handy in the near future. I always keep a plastic garbage bag in a closet ready to be filled. When my grandchildrens birthdays or Christmas is near, I am ready to send their gifts on the way that will arrive unbroken. There is nothing better than Scotch High Performance packing tape to seal my boxes. I moved recently and can honestly say the packing tape held up better than the expensive purchased boxes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a roll of this tough stuff to test and I'm now a big fan. It holds fast on every box I've tried no matter the texture or the load. Once it's stuck, it's staying or else you'll damage the paper it's stuck to. The dispenser works perfectly just like the other packing tape dispensers I've used on Scotch products. Perfect for heavy moving boxes!

I've used this packing tape to hold together very heavy boxes that were almost disintegrating. Book Fair Returns for a school. Weve also used it to reinforcethe covers of heavily used reference materials. I also use it for at home lamination of cards and art projects.

I have bought Scotch shipping tape for years. However, the latest roll I purchased and tried to use today is just terrible. It is SO sticky, it sticks hard to itself. I cannot get a full width piece to even get it started to use on the dispenser. It breaks off in little pieces and is next to impossible to pry off the roll. I'm so annoyed with the this roll.

I've always thought that this brand was really good, but this packaging tape is worse than regular tape. It doesn't stick to anything except on its own sticky side. It does however stick to regular printer paper. Just not cardboard or anything else. Don't waste your money to buy this tape if you need to tape down your boxes.

This is the worst tape I have ever used for moving!!! Literally cones off brand new moving boxes in 10 minutes!! I will have to re-tape all boxes as the movers load them. I have had 3-4 tape strips on the bottom one direction and 1-2 the other. Same with the top. It still won't stick. Even on empty boxes. There has to be a better tape out there!!!! I eclectic better from this company as their tape was wonderful on my last move. I do not have time to keep buying more tape and re-taping boxes!!! This is already a stressful time and this is adding to it!

I use this tape at work ALL THE TIME & ITS GREAT. I am a pkg. Handler at one of the largest shipping companies in the world & if it wasn't for this tape, our delivery drivers would have terrible days because of companies who do not use this kind of tape and in the process off shipping their boxes start to break open , resulting in the contents getting lost of damaged in the process, which makes for unhappy delivery drivers as well as unhappy customers. No bueno when customers don't receive all they were expecting because of other ineffective tape used to close packages. Scotch brand packaging tape is the BEST!!! THANKS SCOTCH BRAND, YOU ALWAYS SAVE THE DAY!!!

There do not seem to be 1.88 inch x 800 inch refills for the red plastic tape dispensers. Why? While I like your clear packaging and shipping tape, it is very disappointing that I must consign the empty dispensers to the landfill since the local recycling centers will not accept them. Can't 3M do better?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dispenser works great making it easy to use and very compact to store away when done. The tape is thick and strong. Seals the boxes just right. Also the tape stops from sticking back to roll and having to find the end. No extra cutting tools needed. 3m gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

Three ibuprofens and hour later, still struggling to figure out how to release beginning of tape roll so I could start using it. There was no tab to pull on end of tape to get it started. There were no directions on package, either. Finally put roll under bright light and examined. There is an INVISABLE perforation that needs to be broken and tape then released. There was no way to know this on the package.
