It is a sturdy and good value tape dispenser (comes with one pre installed) - the tape is high quality. Just make sure you take the blade protector Off Before you use it!

Since restrictions last year and health safety, I need to shop, like so many, from home. There are bound to be returns. THIS IS GOING TO BE OF GREAT HELP!!! It is worth the cost. Thanks Walmart.

This tape and dispenser handle are Fantastic and easy-to-use use ) When I was moving I bought this to tape the boxes after packing them and it worked veryvwell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very strong and sturdy tape. Easy to use and easy to start without having the tape tear while you are trying to use it. It holds on almost any surface. The amount and length could be a little longer but it's definitely enough. The tear teeth are sharp and make it easy to get any size piece you need.

It took me some time to figure out what the directions were saying for putting the tape in the dispenser. It was important to get the tape right side up & that was hard to determine from the diagrams. After experimenting, I got it done! And the dispenser works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape and used this product to seal a package to mail. I had difficulty getting the tape started. There is a "tab" that appears to be the starting point, but in fact the tape ran over and past this point, so I struggled to find the beginning of the roll. Also, there is a piece of cardboard that says "remove here" that protects the cutting blade edge which is a great safety feature. However once I removed the cardboard where indicated, the cutting edge was still covered up with part of the attached cardboard, thus making cutting the tape difficult. I tried to remove the residual cardboard tab, but it is well secured, so I was not successful. I don't know if that little tab that remains is supposed to be left on for protection of the blade, or removed, but if left on, the cutting edge is blocked, and if it is to be removed, I cannot figure out how to do so without cutting myself on the cutting edge! However the tape itself is wonderful! It dispensed very easily and smoothly. I cannot tear it, which assures secure sealing. It has it's own dispenser, which would be very handy except for the above issues. It is clear tape, so you can see where you are putting it which is obviously important when sealing a seam or package edges. I love the tape and would recommend it for anyone's packaging needs.

Tape isn’t good but dispenser works great

This is the worst tape dispenser I have ever used. The tape catches on the roller and then it won’t pull through. The cutter is difficult to use. I have to cut the tape with scissors. Since I’m packing for a cross country move I thought this tape dispenser would be a big help and time saver...wrong. It’s really slowing down the packing process. Don’t waste your money on this piece of junk.

This is by far the worst tape dispenser I’ve ever used. The bottom metal part sticks to the tape and it’s almost impossible the yank off. Every time you snap your wrist down to cut it off with the blade it just chucks the wheel of tape off or twists it all up. This makes the tape dispenser useless because every time you run a roll of tape across the top of a box you have to hand, cut it and reattach the tape to the wheel and restring it through the roller. Absolute nightmare while I was trying to move.
