Great for shipping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of shipping of all kinds of items and scotch packaging tape is my go to tape every time. The post office prefers it over any other type of tape because it stays in place and it doesn't gum up their machines. I love that it always goes on neatly and leaves my packages looking professional.

Our dispenser should cut the tape when you press the plastic guard firmly against the box to move the blades forward and while holding it against the box - you then twist your wrist to cut the tape. THE WORST

I have an internet shop and do a lot of shipping.. I use Scotch tape because I like its quality best.. soooo I bought the scotch heavy duty shipping tape. At first it pulled fine but after using it a while..it was terrible.. DO NOT BUY..

No way to start it

There doesn't seem to be a way to get the tape off the spool. I finally had to cut it with a knife in order to get a leader that would pull it off the roll.

Pure nightmare! totally failed to hold.

[Employee of 3m-scotch] We purchased this product a month ago and used it to seal boxes we were using to move. Everything looked great, until we went to move. The tape kept falling off of the boxes and the boxes were opening while being transported to and from the truck. It was a nightmare! We can't believe that what used to be the "best go to product in the business" fell apart as much as it did.
