[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly use the Heavy Duty Packing Tape to repackage purchases for return shipping. For that purpose it works great. It seals securely and I trust the seal will hold through all the handling of shippers. As long as the tape stays fed through the dispenser, all is good. If the end slips out and the tape sticks back to itself, it is difficult to peel up again in one piece.

Worst design I have ever seen in a tape gun, just how difficult does such a device need to be?! The cutter does not cut when it is supposed to, I had to press the tape into it with fingers millimeters from the teeth, or cut it with a separate blade, all while holding the package together with the other hand. Then the tape stuck to the guide bar disallowing dispensing. I would further complain that the plastic parts broke easily, but that was when it hit the far wall with an overhand throw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best packaging tapes Ive ever used. Its easy to use. I love that it comes with the cutter attached to the product. You dont have to use a lot of it for it to work. Just 1 strip on each box opening is enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of this product to evaluate and I have to say it really lives up to its name. While they could have put more tape on the roll, I found that I didn't need as much to seal a box as I did with previous products. The tape itself is clear and is ideal for covering address information that could easily smear if it got wet. It sticks well and can be removed fairly easily as well. The dispenser is a real bonus because it's reusable and sharp to cut the tape - but not your hands. I really like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This packaging tape is as strong as is needed. One layer of it seals the seam. I used it on a smaller package I had to mail. And it is crystal clear. The dispenser works well and can be refilled. It could also be used to repair a box.

It held together much better than I even expected, even on the bottom heavy boxes full of books. The dispenser made it super easy to use which was so nice in the hustle and bustle of a big move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the Scotch Heavy duty shipping tape. I had to ship a special comic to be signed, I neatly packaged it up and secured it with this tape. Unlike other shipping tape where you need to double the tape to make sure its secured. I also love that a little bit goes a long way. you don't need much tape either. Have to say I will be buying this just not for shipping but for also packing when I move. Its a brand I can count on!!

The dispenser makes Life so much easier when boxing & packaging something to be delivered & I can always be assured it will arrive intact even though the delivery companies treat the packages like Gorillas.

I have purchased Scotch brand heavy duty tape for years to ship packages to my family. I purchased a 38.2 yd heavy duty 20x stronger roll again today but unfortunately, while wrapping the large package, the tape ripped in my hands a number of times. Totally disappointed and surprised.
