[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tape! I recently started selling things online. As you know I have to make sure the package arrives safely to the customer. I have been using a generic tape, but it was hard to use because it kept splitting on the roll and it was not sticking properly on the tabs so I was constantly trying to fix it. In addition, because it tore so easily I was having to put two or three layers of tape to insure the safe arrival of the package. With Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape packaging is so much simpler. It sticks very well and does not tear so easily, so one layer of tape is enough. Also it stays stuck to the tabs, so I do not have to find the end of the roll and re-load the tape. This tape has made my life much easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape really is heavy duty. This stuff is strong and has tons of uses. I think it's a good idea to keep stocked in any junk or desk drawer. I used it to reseal a bag of soil, and it seems to have done a good job keeping it fresh. I've trusted it for multiple packages I've sent in the mail with no complaints yet. It's easy to tear using the dispenser, but make sure to keep the end piece to reattach to the end of the tape as to not lose it to the tape roll. It has a nice clear finish and sticks well. I'd recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically use Scotch packaging tape, but had not tried the heavy duty. This is very heavy duty. I would trust it for any package that might be heavy that you want to ensure it keep taped shut. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that it was very hard to get the tape started. It tore in multiple places (see photo). One I got it started then it worked great!

I personally feel this tape performed the BEST out of ALL the other brands. Easy to 'Start off' the roll, simple application to the boxes & holds up to everything (I have yet to have a buyer tell me that a box broke it's seal or the tape gave out/ ripped). We pack our orders, tape them up, ship and forget it. We use a number of tapes but the packaging tape is used the most. We have NEVER had a problem!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this tape, I love the handy cutter Attachment. I always have to carry scissors to cut pieces of tape when using it on a package. I used it on my package that was busting at the seems to test the heavy duty part. The tape itself is thick. The stickiness works well. Just make sure to press it down on the box to stick it well. Usually I use too much tape bc i am not sure it would stay stuck. Well I let this sit in a humid room for a weekend before sending it on Monday. It stayed stuck and looked great.

Great for shipping boxes, covering paper like a lamination, arts & crafts and a tons of other uses (like taping cords to the wall, if your cat is a cord chewer; or covering up ripped up carpet [thanks, cat!] so you can go over the area with a vacuum without snagging carpet). I'm not sure what I would do without the value, reliability and effectiveness of Scotch® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape.
