The lunchbox does a good job of chilling, according to my little, but his lunch bag has been a mess when he gets home. If he does not finish his food (yogurt, applesauce, hummus, dipping sauces etc) it leaks out of the compartment(s). The foods mix inside of the compartments as well (ie yogurt mixes into the ketchup). It’s also pretty heavy compared to other lunchboxes.

We haven't used this just yet as we bought it for the upcoming school year, but so far seems to be a great product. The backpack storage is a bit shorter than a usual backpack because of the built in lunch box, but this will be fine for my daughter as she's only going into kindergarten. However, I could see that being an issue for an older kid who may have more materials and books on a daily basis

My 3 1/2 yo loves it and it fits great. Until we put the lunch box in the bottom, where it’s holder is. She struggles to pick up the whole pack, put it on, and walk. I end up putting it in with my lunch so she can at least decently move with just the backpack.

Really well made and appreciate all the pockets. Wish the bottom cooler portion fit the matching lunch box, not just the bentogo bento box alone, but the backpack is roomy enough that my daughter can fit the matching insulated lunch box into the large pocket of the backpack and uses the bottom insulated pocket for her snack. We really like this backpack!

I got this backpack for my kiddo who started TK. He only needs to have space for extra clothes and a standard folder. The main compartment can fit a folder, but the top corners get bent a little after zipping shut. With the extra clothes it gets a little tricky for younger kids to get the folder in and out. Also, our school has the kiddos place their lunch bags in a separate bin under their backpacks for easy access when snack or lunch starts. If I had known this, I would not have opted for this style backpack. Just something to keep in mind for the littlest kids starting school for the first time. My son loves his backpack so I will keep it.

First off, cute design! In theory this is a great idea, two birds one stone kind of thing. Unfortunately the actual size of the backpack is small. I have no idea how all necessary school materials will fit inside. Save yourself time and money and just buy a back bag and lunch box separately.

So easy to use, keeps food cold until lunch time, and very easy to clean at the end of the day. I love that the individual compartments stay separate from each other, allowing me to mix crackers and yogurts without worrying that they will spill over.

A great, study lunchbox. Ice pack is inside, so it doesn't sweat. I did have some issues with the tray getting stuck inside the lid, so be careful when you put it together. Overall, I am buying a 2nd, plus the extra tray to prep multiple lunches at once. I recommend!

Awesome lunch box. Super sturdy! My son loves it. The reason I’m only giving it 4 stars is because it’s not deep enough to fit a sandwich. When I pack a sandwich I cut it in half but the halves are still too tall and the sandwich gets squished down. If it were deeper it would be great and be more roomy. Other than that it is an awesome lunch box and would definitely recommend.

I like the back pack but the lunch box on the bottom isn’t really why we bought it.. I find it wouldn’t be that useful as a lunch bag bc the target age of the child and most schools need a separate bag. We use it to send extra clothes or as an extra pouch. Also if it was slightly larger at the top it would be better for folders.. our 7 yo twins really like the designs as does our 3 yo and the matching lunch bag we ordered separately. If it had an option to attach a separate lunch bag that would be good. We do really like the lunch box and lunch bag. I especially like that the lunch bag comes with a water bottle holder on the side.
