While the Bentgo Chill Lunch Box is designed to keep food cool for about 2 to 3 hours at typical room temperatures using the included ice pack, performance can vary depending on external temperatures, how cold the tray and food were initially, and how often the box is opened. For maximum cooling time, we recommend freezing the removable ice pack overnight for at least 12 to 24 hours and prepping the food tray in the refrigerator before packing.
