[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was curious if this product worked, or if it was just another laundry gimmick— but I think it’s great! I tried it on a load I left in the washer on accident over the weekend and they came out smelling amazing! Love that this product removes residues rather than just trying to cover up odors with scent. I can’t wait to try to refresh some old towels! I’m really not sure if it’s intended to go in every load, or just the old musky ones, but I guess we’ll see!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with the results of using downy rinse and refresh. I have a high end efficiency washer that leaves a musty odor on washed clothing. In an effort to get rid of this problem, I have purchased washing machine cleaners and add in crystals to boost more pleasant scent. These methods failed miserable with musty odor remaining. Downy rinse and refresh immediately removed the musty odor and left clothing feeling soft and odor free. The scent of the downy rinse and refresh cool cotton was very faint which I also found to my liking. I would highly recommend this product to those struggling to get rid of musty odors in their wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Downy Rinse and Refresh in the cool cotton scent when washing the pets bedding and everything smells fresh. The only thing I don't care for is the instructions. It states to pour it into the fabric softener compartment or directly into the washing machine. Our machine doesn't have a separate compartment so I had to put it into the machine but it doesn't state how much product to use so I had to guess at it.

The sheets were soft, they smelled nice, but general detergent and dryer sheets do the same. I do not love that it is a liquid and it is just one more thing to add to your wash cycle. Overall, meh - not bad but not sure I would use it again.

Nowhere on the label is it made clear how much of the product should be used. “Filling the fabric softener dispenser…” Well, my machine doesn’t have one! Should I use a teaspoon? A tablespoon? A cup? The whole bottle? Tried scanning the code, but that didn’t work either. Ridiculous!

I've been adding it to every load...especially to the workout clothes and sports uniforms. They have held up great and smell super fresh. It makes it nice to fold too. I would recommend this product if you have toddlers in the house too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this downy rinse and refresh. It smells like fresh cotton and has a very clean smell. Exactly like you want your laundry to smell like. I pair it with Downy detergent and my clothes come out smelling clean and feeling soft.

Those words sum it up.. I'm so happy I have found this product I will definitely be using it again. My son does home repairs and has found some nasty stuff to crawl in. Which of course smells just as nasty. This stuff removed the smell and left my washer smelling amazing.. I would definitely recommend it!!
