[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Rinse and Refresh is free of heavy dyes and perfumes. This is great for my family because it doesn't irritate our sensitive skin. I add it to the fabric softener compartment on our washer. It's quick and easy. It keeps our laundry fresher for longer. Especially our bath and hand towels which I find can carry a pesky odor from being constantly damp. I will definitely continue to use in the future!

Also like the lack of coloring, never understood why companies use all the unnecessary added coloring, this has none which is really nice. Leaves our clothes really soft

My clothes suffer from sports, grease and dirt stains and even though they may come clean they never smell as fresh as I would like. With this product from Downey now the they do! Definitely freshens better that fabric softener alone. Just a small amount goes a long way and sticks with my clothing for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came across this softener and decided to give it a try. Well must say I am absolutely pleased with the product. The scent is long lasting on your clothing items. A little goes a long way, this is a must for laundry needs.

There is no way to know how much you are using and if you have a washer with a center place for softener (I KNOW THIS IS NOT SOFTENER) but that is the place to put it, it spills all over the inside of the washer. The design of the bottle is terrible. MORE IMPORTANTLY - it "masks" the smells but they come right back and WORSE it has damaged clothing, leaving streaky marks and almost greasy looking stains. It is very sticky and I truly cannot understand how a company priding itself on laundry care can release a product with this many problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this new product from Downy. This Rinse and Refresh does exactly what it says…it removes odor and residue. I’ve always loved all Downy products, but this one may be my new favorite. It makes my clothes smell fresh and clean without leaving behind any residue like regular softener can do. And it smells fabulous!!

Don’t waste your money on this product. Leaves your clothes with the smell of pool water! Smells like chlorine, not fresh at all! And there is zero softening to your clothes. I’m going to stick with adding the Lysol Laundry Sanitizer, Tide & the April Fresh Downy which is amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton and it makes my son hockey gear smell fresh and clean. It's truly hard to make that gear smell good. I just washed it with my regular detergent and Downey in the fabric softer slot. So clean and fresh. I love this stuff.

I used a different type of refresh for my towels but this is way better. I used it on my son’s work shirt’s and he said he liked the way they had a different type of smell. There really isn’t a con.
