[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw Downey rinse & refresh laundry odor remover and fabric softener and had to try it. My husband is a hard working man that works outside all day no matter how hot it is. Most days he comes in with soaking wet clothes from.sweating so much. Boy oh boy that smell is a chor trying to wash out. But not with this product. I just add it to my fabric softener tray in my washing machine and it does its magic. His clothes comes out clean smelling with the first wash. The scent cool cotton is a light scent which is a plus for my husband and his sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I really wish it had a stronger scent. With that being said, I have used this on my husbands chef clothing and it really does help take the odors away...and keep them away. The scent is very nice, but very light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this softener for a few loads now and I absolutely love the way it smells and leaves my clothes and towels feelings soft. I love how it doesn't leave my clothes with sticky residue and after working all day my husband's clothes still smell fresh and clean. The smell is a calm and fresh smell not an overwhelming scent. I also used it to wash my dogs bedding and it took away that stinky dog smell and left it smelling refreshed and magnificent.

I tried this on a load of work clothes and I could still smell an odor to the clothes. I washed them a second time and used extra Downy and still didn’t remove all odor from the clothes. Lysol sanitizer seems to work better. I am disappointed with this product and the price I paid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love it. This liquid works great on different textiles (linen, cotton, flax, ramie) but I like it best of all on wool. Especially things like sweaters which you have to dry lying flat. This "rinse and refresh" leaves them fluffier (and subsequently warmer), with a very nice faint scent. The fragrance is minimal but pleasant and not sweet at all (rather fresh and crisp). Easy to use, just add some (not a lot, just a couple of table spoons) to the fabric softener dispenser in your washing machine. If handwashing, just splash a bit into the final rinse. All items end up looking newer, smelling fresher and feeling great. Also, keep in mind that liquid is much, much thinner than detergent, so use steady hand when adding, otherwise might add too much (it will not be a problem, but why waste it, right?). Wonderful product I already told everyone I know about. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is pretty small. I mean like in comparison to other fabric softeners. I like the clear bottle, it feels more natural since I can see through it. They advertise it fights odor and leaves a great smell which is a half true. When you open the bottle, it smells delicious but after putting it in multiple loads of laundry, I feel like the smells basically disappears. Like you can faintly smell it but like literally if your nose is directly on the fabric and inhaling hard. The packaging doesn’t tell me how much to use so they should probably add that. I washed like 5 loads so far and the bottle is already more than half gone, so maybe I am using too much. Idk. I do not know if it is really fighting the odor since I don’t stink and I haven’t washed anything incredibly funky. But it does combat enough of normal smells - I think.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new DOWNY Fabric Rinse is fantastic! It's is perfect for my work clothes. I'm a server in a popular family owned restaurant. We are quite busy and I really get a workout on the job. After my shift my clothing smells of fried foods, perspiration. and stress. This completely removes all of the odor, leaving my clothes totally refreshed and soft. The cool cotton scent is light and quite pleasant. I love this stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I am not finding the Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton scent to be very noticeable. Other products have a great scent that stays with the clothes, but this type I'm having trouble picking up the scent the second it comes out of the dryer.

I really liked that the Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton was a light, clean, mild, and fresh scent.
