[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton is supposed to remove odors from activewear according to their website. It did a great job of getting rid of that weird smell my sheets get after being stored awhile in my closets. However, it didn't take away any of the odors from my sports clothing, which is what I was really hoping it would do. The scent is VERY strong, straight from the bottle but it doesn't seem to be absorbed into the clothing. The clothes coming out of my dryer had hardly any of that scent, and it wiped out the lovely scent of my washing detergent too. So I gave it 4 stars for getting rid of the weird musty smell from my sheets, but I would give it 0 stars for NOT getting rid of ANY of the odors from my sportswear. So if your issues are must sheet, towel smells then this product is for you!

I had been looking for a product that will make all my clothes smell fresher, and this Downy Rinse and Refresh works great for odors! I like having this product to use with my laundry deyergent, so my clothes come out clean and odor-free!

I add it to the fabric softener compartment on our washer. It's quick and easy. It keeps our laundry fresher for longer. Especially our bath and hand towels which I find can carry a pesky odor from being constantly damp. I will definitely continue to use in the future!

Takes care of any tough odors from my husband's workshop and yardwork clothes. Even our bath towels are super soft and the family can't wait to use them for the first time. My daughter actually asked to help me fold the laundry today. :) I'll definitely try all of the scents and keep this on my must have list.

In two separate illustrations you guys show this being used with a sort of flip top lid but in another pouring out of the middle like it’s a squeeze type lid. Want to help me out and explain how I can used this bottle unless I just unscrew the cap which then is hard to control the pour, especially with a full bottle because my lid has no perforations.

This review is for "Cool Cotton" fragrance which is mild yet pleasant. Just poured a little in fabric softener compartment of HE washer and the clothes came out with a very pleasing smell which is not overpowering. Love this product from Downy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t think this would work, but it absolutely did. I’m a pretty sweaty woman, and anything remotely strenuous causes me to sweat like crazy. A few of my workout shirts were almost disposed of until I tried this. You put it in during the rinse cycle and somehow, scientifically removes odors? Definitely give it a try.
