[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love De'Longhi products!  They are beautiful, purposeful, and well-made and this De'Longhi Combination Espresso/Coffee Machine - Stainless Steel BCO430 is no exception.  This all-in-one unit allows you to brew coffee to your desired strength and lets you make your favorite espresso drinks like cappuccino and lattes.  Water is kept fresh and clean via a state of the art filter.  This unit has several neat features like the warm function that keeps your coffee pot warm for two hours, a cup warmer, an indicator that helps you avoid stale coffee, has a 24 hour programmable timer, drip coffee part is front loaded for easy access, advanced milk steamer / frother, auto shut off, and a well-written instruction manual for easy use.  I haven't had this unit very long so I can't comment on product longevity but it appears to be made well.

The machine itself has a lot of plastic, which is a con for us. The pros really outweigh the cons with this product! It is simple to use, and easy to clean! Love the dual function of espresso and drip!

I've been in the market for a dual espresso/coffee machine for a while and I'm so glad I found this one . It's extremely easy to use and even easier to clean. like how it has the permanent metal coffee filter, so no need to buy paper filters anymore. The directions are easy to understand and follow, and it delivers a delicious cup of coffee and espresso. You can also make cappuccinos as well. Also doesn't take up a lot of space and has a built in clock & brew timer that lets me set my pot to brew before I wake up. Needless to say I've saved a ton of money already by making my lattes at home instead of the small fortune e In was paying daily for my latte addiction so this machine definitely pays for itself. I'm very pleased with this product and I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are limited on counter space and want both a coffee maker and espresso machine, while it is still a large unit this DeLonghi has a smaller footprint than two separate appliances. Starting with the coffee maker side: Cons: the design of the swing out basket makes it difficult to read the water level on the reservoir, so make sure you pour the correct amount of water into the carafe first. There is also no 'beep' notification to let you know when brewing is complete, so you have to just pay attention. Other than that it has pretty standard, easy to use and understand features and can produce a nice rich cup of coffee. While the swing out style of brew basket blocks the reservoir water level, I do like the fact that if you have low upper cabinets you don't have to move the coffee maker forward in order to open the brew basket. Now for the espresso side. Con: The water reservoir pulls straight up so if you have low upper cabinets you have to move the machine forward to get the reservoir out. It also takes a few minutes to heat up before you can pull a shot of espresso. Other than that minor inconvenience it's a very nice low to mid grade espresso machine. It pulls a decent shot and I love how you can take each piece apart in order to thoroughly clean it (something my cheaper machine doesn't do). The milk wand is also pretty easy to clean and it only takes a few minutes to get milk to a nice temp for lattes. There is a bit of water that drains out into the tray below each time you pull a shot, but thankfully there is a little red 'buoy' that will float up to the top so you can see when the tray needs to be emptied. Overall, it's a nice mid grade machine for both uses; the main draw for me is the saving of counter space and convenience of just having one appliance for both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's worth whatever you will pay for it if you're looking for a quality, consumer product. For me, it's the ease of cleanup and use. I'll also mention once your set up the auto settings you can essentially forget it until the power goes out - then you'll need to reset it agin. The coffee tastes wonderful, and the built in filter is definitely better than the previous models I've used. It's actually shaped so it slides exactly into place without much thought. Something you won't think about until you have to ;) My wife is much more of a cappuccino, latte drinker and enjoys using the other side for that. She seems to have no issue at all and has used it most days. I do steal some frothed milk from time to time =P It's pretty good

We bought this machine a month ago and absolutely love it! All the features and the variety of drinks you can make with one machine makes it a favorite for everyone in the house with my husband's coffee, my lattes, the kids cappuccinos and espresso for both of us to keep up with said kids hehe. It's straight forward and easy to use. You can have it on a timer to have your coffee ready when you wake up. Another thing we liked is that you don't have to keep buying filters for it because you don't need them at all. It's a beautiful machine to top it off! It's quite larger than your standard coffee machine but the fact that it's an all in one saves you needing multiple appliances which in the end saves space. Overall we love, love, love ours and would recommend it!

This machine makes a smooth and rich drip coffee and a beautiful esspresso with perfect crema. I love that niether are coming out too acidic. This machine is super easy to use.
