This is the 6th expresso machine I have purchased but the first DeLonghi. My previous machines were name brands but never frothed the milk properly and they were more expensive than the DeLonghi. This machine was very easy to set up and it works great. The drip coffee is excellent and the espresso, latte and capucino are delicious. I'm very happy with this machine and I would highly recommend it. I read some reviews where people said that the water leaked and that there was an odor, I haven't noticed anything like that. This is a good machine.

I’ve waited a while to write this review and have had mine for a few months now. Don’t buy this!! Mine has started to leak even when it’s not running. When I’m heating the milk for a latte it takes an extremely long time to heat up (I’m talking over 30mins) and it produces a very bad chemical smell. I regret buying this machine and now stuck with it.

Although I drink regular coffee everyday and this makes a great pot of coffee, I have never owned a coffee maker that also makes a wonderful cappuccino and a good espresso. Because it is so easy and convenient to make I now drink at lot more cappuccino on a regular basis which I love , and my wife really likes her expresso. This is my newest permanent all around coffee machine on my countertop. Everything is so simple now thank you.

I was in the market something like this, as I was looking to change it up a bit from the normal product I use and this was perfect. I would certainly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Delonhi espresso machine in my home and was using a Nespresso in the B&B on my property, but the thing is, Nespresso isn't everyone's "thing" plus I'm in the coffee capital of america, and its great to offer local grounds to my guests. I was really excited to try this and knew that it would be great in my space, but also offer guests flexibility for how they like to caffeinate. I have a much more complex machine, and this one is pretty easy to use in comparison. As usual when any product arrives like this, I make sure to wash all the parts with soap and water before I get started. I've made both drip and espresso with this and I am pleasantly surprised. I will likely leave the manual in the B&B just in case anyone needs helps getting started but I think the learning curve isn't too great.

Espresso or hot cocco is a breeze with this machine, or just a nice pot of hot coffee. The machine itself is like a professional machine well made and of the highest of quality.. Well done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee pot is awesome! I love how the coffee maker has a timer so I can set it at night to go off before I wake up. It also has an espresso side and milk frother. I have been experimenting making the drinks I normally get at a coffee shop and its amazing! So easy to use and easy clean up!

Very stylish looking and the ease of use is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great coffee maker that can make them all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are limited on counter space and want both a coffee maker and espresso machine, while it is still a large unit this DeLonghi has a smaller footprint than two separate appliances. Starting with the coffee maker side: Cons: the design of the swing out basket makes it difficult to read the water level on the reservoir, so make sure you pour the correct amount of water into the carafe first. There is also no 'beep' notification to let you know when brewing is complete, so you have to just pay attention. Other than that it has pretty standard, easy to use and understand features and can produce a nice rich cup of coffee. While the swing out style of brew basket blocks the reservoir water level, I do like the fact that if you have low upper cabinets you don't have to move the coffee maker forward in order to open the brew basket. Now for the espresso side. Con: The water reservoir pulls straight up so if you have low upper cabinets you have to move the machine forward to get the reservoir out. It also takes a few minutes to heat up before you can pull a shot of espresso. Other than that minor inconvenience it's a very nice low to mid grade espresso machine. It pulls a decent shot and I love how you can take each piece apart in order to thoroughly clean it (something my cheaper machine doesn't do). The milk wand is also pretty easy to clean and it only takes a few minutes to get milk to a nice temp for lattes. There is a bit of water that drains out into the tray below each time you pull a shot, but thankfully there is a little red 'buoy' that will float up to the top so you can see when the tray needs to be emptied. Overall, it's a nice mid grade machine for both uses; the main draw for me is the saving of counter space and convenience of just having one appliance for both.
