Bought this for the man of the house, as I do not like coffee. He really likes it. As I do as well because I used to start his coffee before work every morning but with the timer we can set it up the night before and it’ll be done when he’s ready. He hasn’t used the espresso side yet but I’m sure he’ll love it as much. I would recommend this for any coffee drinker.

Here’s my honest review of my new Delonghi coffee/espresso machine. The machine is very easy to use. Brewing a pot of coffee is a little noisy but it’s got a built in filter, though I still use a cone filter as well because it’s easier to clean it out. The water for the coffee gets poured into right next to the filter then you close it up and push on for it to start brewing. You can program this to start at a specific time but I’ve not done that yet. The espresso side, there’s a water compartment in the back left side that easily comes out for cleaning or filling up. There are two buttons in the front on the espresso side. The top is pressed to have the heated water to come down through the espresso. I’m learning how to put the gadget/handle into the machine that has the espresso in it. It has to go in a specific way and tightens just so. With time I’ll better figure the correct way to do it. The second button underneath the first is for the steaming wand at the side. You push that button and there’s a turn dial on the side you use to steam your milk. So I’m happy with it and in time it’ll be easier to do my espresso drinks. 😁👍

Makes a great cup of hot coffee. Espresso machine leaks quite a bit of water into the drain tub, so be sure to empty it with each use. It has a little red indicator that floats up to warn you when it is time to empty. Easy to clean...handwash all the parts

It works great. However, my husband opened it on the 26th for Christmas, only used it once and a piece of plastic on the side of the espresso grate broke off. It will still work fine, but I was disappointed in the money I spent on the machine to already have a piece break off. I have a picture of the piece and where it came from on the machine

I owned this coffee pot for 13 months when it stopped brewing and started leaking water all over the kitchen counter. Until that point, it worked great, just disappointed that it didn't last longer for the price and reviews

Doesn't get hot enough. Coffee gets hot, but not as hot as I like. The espresso doesn't get anywhere near hot enough. You follow directions, but barely warm.

The coffee maker worked great for a week then the steamer started not working or only working for a couple seconds. After two weeks there is now a burning smell coming from the machine. I am so disappointed because I love how the machine looks on my counter.

Can't count on auto setting for drip coffee because the clock rarely stays set for longer than a couple hours. Sometimes can't make drip coffee at all because red lights come on and drip stops working. This happened with my last DeLonghi coffee maker after a few years. With this one it only took a couple months.

Without any form of warning on packaging, this product only works with one specific "reusable" coffee filter, which is supposed to come with the machine. Ours was missing the filter, and is so far useless for daily use. With the possibility of looking forward to having to reuse some mesh garbage filter once I can track it down

I was so happy when I received this machine. Each morning the scent of coffee would wake me from my bed. Sadly the magic didn't last. Within a few months some mornings there would be coffee some there wouldn't. The espresso side still worked well. It took hours of talking to customer service to get a replacement only to have that also break down a few short months later. First the coffee side and then the espresso side. I really was a delonghi fan but now I will have to look else where. Save your money.
