It would be nice to put a taller cup under the espresso side and also to have a stainless steel pitcher included to steam the milk. Other than those two suggestions, it is easy to use and I like that both sides can be working at the same time. Worth the investment if you are a latte junkie! P.S. It helps if you know an old-school barista to help with technique! Milk steaming needs to be 120-140 degrees and stop at 160 or you'll scold the milk. Some like it up to 180, but I think it tastes nasty.

Without any form of warning on packaging, this product only works with one specific "reusable" coffee filter, which is supposed to come with the machine. Ours was missing the filter, and is so far useless for daily use. With the possibility of looking forward to having to reuse some mesh garbage filter once I can track it down

You can brew 10 cups of coffee, Espressos, Lattes, cappuccinos and even hot chocolate. So easy to use and set up was simple. What I like most about this machine is you the 24hr programmable timer, extremely helpful in the morning getting ready for work. It has a water filter so the drinks have a very clean fresher taste. My daughter uses puts a shot of espresso in her coffee so she's been enjoying it as well. Pretty much like having your own Barista style drinks at home. I have to say that I have enjoyed the ability to make cappuccinos at home as opposed to running out to a coffee shop. This machine is something every coffee lover should have. The drinks come out textured, rich, creamy and the right amount of froth. I highly recommend DeLonghi Espresso & coffee maker, its modern and versatile and perfect for coffee enthusiasts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worked with many commercial espresso and coffee machines for over 13 years. I learned that no 2 machines are alike. Every machine has a learning curve to get that perfect cup of espressos,cappuccino and coffee. DeLonghi has made commercial quality for residential use,but not this one. My review on this machine is great for residential beginner, but just ok for an experienced barista. The concept is great because we all would love less clutter on the counter, but fell slightly short on quality. The coffee and espresso does not come out piping hot the way I like it. The froth tube works,but not as powerful as the pinhole tube. Their is no automatic shutoff for espresso, so you have to stand their shut off to prevent overflow.I own DeLonghi La Specialista espresso machine which produces restaurant quality espresso and gives me more control on tweaking my espresso. The 2 in 1 is not the same as the high end DeLonghi machines. This combo coffee/espresso has more plastic less features.If you are not as picky about espresso as I am and love less clutter on your counter this machine is for you. It does make a good Latte, espresso and coffee just not perfect for me

This unit let's you brew coffee to your preferred strength and care your espresso drinks like latte,cappuccino and hot chocolate. I've had this coffee maker for over a year. Coffee is just fine. My husband like the espresso part. The worst is the carafe. I spill out half the coffee trying to pour a cup. The carafe back pours all the time. I have tried slow por, fast pour, the only solution is over the sink so I don't have to clean up the mess. Highly regret this purchase.

I was so happy when I received this machine. Each morning the scent of coffee would wake me from my bed. Sadly the magic didn't last. Within a few months some mornings there would be coffee some there wouldn't. The espresso side still worked well. It took hours of talking to customer service to get a replacement only to have that also break down a few short months later. First the coffee side and then the espresso side. I really was a delonghi fan but now I will have to look else where. Save your money.

I bought one in December 2019. I only had headaches with this machine. The jar leaks coffee through the support ring. I called the warranty and they mail me a new jar. Well, it still did the same thing. Last week, the machine completely stopped working on the coffee side. It won't start. Now, I don't have a warranty anything. Just frustrating…

The carafe side is an absolute necessity in our house as we each drink multiple cups in the morning. The pullout filler spot is genius, no more pulling out the whole pot just to fill it. It also has a timer! Then when you are feeling fancy or you need that extra boost in your morning you can have a single or double shot expresso, froth up some milk or dairy substitute and you have a cappuccino, frappuccino, or macchiato the possibilities are pretty endless. Now the carafe side is user friendly, the expresso and frother side do take a little practice and reading directions but the drinks are worth it! And the top is a warming plate for your cups, I love my De'Longhi!

I expected good things with this. However after using it several times and trying to find info on it. I have no choice but to give it a one star rating. The shots do not come out even. I can find no size from this site to replace the portafilter with a single and get rid of the stupid double spout that can't pour evenly. I know it's probably something I'm doing wrong. But since this is delonghi site and they have no vids, no info or anything useful about this machine. They get one star.
