Good coffee and espresso maker with nice features like auto start timer, but lacking on the steam system to make cappuccino. The steam connection nozzle is too short for standard size milk containers and does not reach the milk level when following the instructions. You need to fill the milk container at least to the level where the steam connection submerges to make cappuccino and you end up with too much milk for one or two cups.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and it quickly became a boomerang gift. Something that was beneficial to both he and I :-) We love it. It took a minute to get used to how the espresso part / steamer worked but once we got that down we were good to go. Now we love having our afternoon cappuccinos and my friends love the espresso martinis!

I've been wanting this type of espresso maker for years and I love it. They versatility of making coffee and an espresso…awesome. The espresso turns out great for a novice. The steamer works perfectly, easy to clean. Well worth the money. It's perfect for home use.

I have had the machine for a couple of weeks now. I really like it except for a couple issues. 1) the lid that goes on the top of the coffee maker is plastic and one of the little tabs that works as a hinge has already broke off. It still works, but disappointed as it should have lasted a lot longer than two weeks. 2). The milk frother doesn't do a very good job at actually frothing. It heats the milk up quickly, but as for any foam you can forget about it. It creates a small amount, which is fine for us, but if you really like foam this wouldn't work for you.

Purchased this for my boyfriend for his birthday as his other one died on us. It fit perfectly where the other one was and had a little bit more room. He usually makes the drinks but this has brought back out that barista I once was. Would highly recommend this machine.

When you use the espresso machine, you have to be sure to have finely ground coffee or it will not taste properly. The built in frother took some trial and error to get used to it, but we expected that. The added bonus of this machine is that it also has a coffee pot for every day use. My wife will make us lattes when she has some spare time in the morning, and if not, she will brew a pot of coffee. This is a great machine that we hope to use for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I liked the concept of the all-in-one De'Longhi coffee maker and espresso machine. The coffee machine portion performed well. The coffee brews quickly and remains warm for a long period of time while on the warmer. I thought the mesh like basket for the coffee maker was made to not have to use a coffee filter, however it's very hard to clean the basket without a coffee filter. After a few uses I opted to use a coffee filter for easier and quicker cleanup. The espresso side of the machine is very loud during usage, also I found that using the frother and the espresso it takes a while to warm up between uses. While trying to use both it makes it challenging to assemble a very warm/hot drink. It takes a learning curve with the machine especially with the espresso portion, you have to start and stop the espresso shot due to there not being an automatic time for the espresso shots.

You can make a pot of coffee and leave it on the warming plate. It comes with a permanent gold tone filter. You can also make Espresso and you can do 2 at a time. You can also make cappuccino or lattes. It has a advanced milk frother on it so you can froth milk. I love doing this its fun. It has a large container for the water and lifts easy in and out. The top you can keep your glasses and its warms them up. I highly recommend this for any coffee lover.

I've been looking to add an espresso maker but didn't want to give up the functionality of my coffee pot - problem solved! Easy instructions provide, set-up is minimal and the safe packaging and bubble wrap was fantastic! For those looking for a mid-tier espresso solution, this ticked all the boxes I was looking for. The espresso handle is a great weight as well.

RUSTED Heater plate, completely unacceptable RUST is everywhere, the pot has even fused to the rust on the heating plate. The Coffee Leaks from decanter spout every time you want to pour it, its a very poorly designed and not well (at all?) tested product. I have NEVER had a worse experience with a coffee machine and at this price point its an insult, its a unfortunate they dont, cant, wont service this better. The pitcher with the plastic cap leaks all over the place, filling the machine for use is also an issue, when pouring a cup, better do that over the sink or you'll be moping the floors and wiping the countertop shortly after. The RUSTING on the Hot Place is obviously a material production defect using cheap steel, I have a Krups Cafe Duo thats lasted 25+ years and never once had any issue, certainly NO RUST. This is a terrible machine.
