[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the side-by-side refrigerator because I don't like the idea of having to dig in a freezer drawer for frozen food, it's too cold.I like being able to open the doors and see everything on shelves. Although I picked one of the smaller refrigerators, it's not so small. It is about the same size as our old fridg(so I thought) until they moved it in. We use to have cabinets above the fridge...we don't have them anymore, which is fine with me. This year I plan to remodel my entire kitchen anyway. The modern design of my Samsung refrigerator is a gorgeous, industrial look. I love the fact it's sleek, you do not see the door handles. But watch out for your feet, I have opened the door on my feet numerous times already.lol. It is huge! The family hub is my favorite part. I blast my spotify music on a daily bases just about all day long. With covid-19, kids are doing school from home and the hub is perfect for them too! Each family member has a profile of their own, where I can write to-do lists, notes, reminders, add to the monthly calendar, etc. for us to keep up with their crazy schedules. I love you can do anything on the hub that you can do on a phone, computer or tablet without having it in the kitchen where somthing more than likely will get spilled on it....yes, it has happened to me, I am a messy cook. On the hub you are able to do so many things like a diagnostic check on the fridge to make sure everything runs smoothly and the way it should, time & date, the weather, music, daily quick recipes, daily Trivia with daily Inspiration, Word of the Day and On This Day. It has many different apps like Meal Planner, Shopping Deals, Spotify, GurbHub, InstaCart, View Inside, Shopping List and tons more. I love going to the store knowing the inventory in my fridge/freezer because it keeps up with that too, along with how long you have had your food for so it doesn't go bad. I'm still learning how to work it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my new Samsung refrigerator but I gave 4 stars because there are a few small features I wish it had to make it the perfect refrigerator for me, like a light on the water and ice dispenser, adjustable shelves where it gives my tea pitcher at least 2 inches from the other shelf and I wish it worked with Google or Alexa instead of Bixby. I really don't mind the Bixby but I already have multiple apps to run different things my household, which is ridiculous. but all in all, I am happy with my purchase and would do it again.

I love this fridge, BUT the ice maker in this one is absolutely TERRIBLE! We literally get 24 little ice cubes a day. With four people trying to fill their water bottles each day - that simply does not work! Additionally, when the ice cubes drop, they mostly shatter. We don't even have to select "crushed ice," but that's what we get. Then, the dispenser continually clogs up with ice chips, and I have to dig all of that out, or the ice is completely blocked! TERRIBLE!!!

Large Capacity Side-by-Side Refrigerator with 21.5" Touch Screen Family Hub™ in Stainless Steel and WOW is all you can think when you look at it. But it's not just pretty, it is so functional too. I've always preferred a side by side refrigerator and had been constantly checking if Samsung would eventually put a hub on the side by side, as many of their other refrigerator styles have it too. Well they finally did it and it is exquisite. The refrigerator is sleek and very modern, with nothing but clean, straight lines. I was a little apprehensive when I didn't see any outer handles on either side but that has become one of my most favorite features. The hidden, indented "handle" really helps to keep smudges off of the refrigerator. It is fingerprint less but smudges do show up but are easily cleaned. The inside is clean and big for a side by side. At almost 27 cu. ft. this refrigerator is a lot bigger on the inside than you think. Where our other fridge could barely contain our food, when we switched to this one we actually had empty shelves on both sides. The glass shelves are an adequate size and the see through bins help find what you need easily. Tall items fit with ease on the shelves or the door as there is plenty of space there. Samsung really designed the door compartments with the consumer in mind. All of our Club Size items fit perfectly. The freezer is just as spacious, with a place for everything, two drawers, and door storage too. Having the icemaker on the door really does free a lot of inside shelf space. With water and ice (full and crushed) included with the refrigerator, it has easily become our favorite appliance. Cool down was very quick after installation so we were able to start enjoying it faster. Having the camera inside is genius, I honestly don't know how we did it before. I used to have doubles of thing in the fridge that would take up space or forget to get something from the grocery store because I thought we already had it. Now all I have to do is check the inside of the refrigerator, the inner camera let's me know without guessing! I've even added pantry items to the app and have all of it on my phone. I really am happy with this Samsung side by side refrigerator and so is my family.

In comparing the side-by-side model to our previous French door type, we found that the side-by-side was much easier to find items in the freezer area versus the French door chest like freezer. The icemaker was excellent and the water filter made the water taste great. The refrigerator and freezer were both spacious and keeps food at the perfect temperature. The appropriately named “Family Hub” did exactly that in the sense that family members were leaving notes for each other, shopping lists were being created, meals were being planned, and the calendar and to do lists were helpful for the entire family. It really became the command center for our household. While anyone can have a great refrigerator, what put this refrigerator into the next level and a big step above the competition was certainly the technology of the Family Hub. Only Samsung developers would come up with the idea to include a 21 inch beautiful LED screen that gives the customer the ability to include photos, messages, recordings, Pandora/Spotify/IHeart Radio, calendar, shopping lists, the ability to view inside your refrigerator while at the store, Ring capabilities, and so much more. Bixby is similar to Alexa and is very useful for voice commands. I love the morning brief and the ability to pull up the news by voice command as well. Once you download the Samsung Family Hub app onto your mobile device/phone, this gives you the ability to do many things with the apps while away from home such as leaving notes, checking contents of the refrigerator with the camera function, uploading photos, etc. I look forward to new apps in the future from the Samsung development team as more and more companies try to get there apps included in this amazing Family Hub. One thing on my wish list would be for the Ring app to automatically open and display who is walking up to the house rather than have to tap the screen to do this function. All in all, I don’t think I could ever go back to a normal refrigerator. Great job Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having the screen on the door to play music on, display pictures, write out shopping lists, leave notes, view inside the fridge. Its really great for when you are at the store of your list is on the fridge. You can pull up the app on your phone and see your list. The space inside is great! I was so happy when I placed 2 extra large pizza boxes on the shelf and they fit! Never could do that with my last fridge! I only really have 2 complaints and they are, I wish there was an extra shelf on the freezer door and the ice maker really sucks. It doesn't make ice very fast. I like having the windows open in the house but if I do, the ice hardly makes any ice to keep up with us using it. Only when the AC is on does it seem to make ice. When dispensing, it is very loud and seems to take a while before actually dispensing ice. The ice holder started getting ice forming around the holder and the dispenser gear actually started to stick. I was able to clear it but I don't think it should have done that. I also wish there was a gap or something so you could grab just a couple ice cubes or put some back when it dispenses too many. Over all I am happy with the fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the tablet and inside camera feature. However, the ice maker is too slow and too small to keep up with our family of 3. I wish it was better. I have to keep extra ice on hand because we often run out. Also, I have the inside frig turned up to 39 and I keep loosing vegetables due to them being frozen. I would not buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung Family Hub fridge is AWESOME. It has plenty of storage and bins, bright lighting inside and great color. The Family Hub is the center of this great appliance, there are lots of Apps (Music, Weather, GrubHub, Photos, Bixby etc) included. This fridge will complement any kitchen color scheme. The ICE Maker and Water station are nicely fitted on the left side of the fridge and operates quietly. I am finding new things out daily and being able to use my Ring app is an added bonus, I can see who's at the front door just by looking at the fridge, HOW COOL IS THAT !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I’ve been very pleased with this purchase. The refrigerator is very spacious. I was a little concerned because it only has 2 drawers instead of 3 and less door shelves than my previous kitchen aid fridge but because of the large space it hasn’t been an issue. I do wish the ice maker had a larger capacity but I do like the smaller cubes instead of the standard rectangular ones. My kids love the whiteboard feature and the Alexa integration. I love the photo gallery and the ease of uploading family photos from my phone. I still haven’t had time to to read about all of the family hub features but look forward to exploring. I am wondering what it will be like in 10 years as technology progresses.I do wish it had larger data storage capacity.
