[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new 2020 Samsung Black Stainless-Steel refrigerator with Family Hub is a thing of beauty. First things first, the touch screen is massive. I’m still getting used of the idea of having a large 21-inch screen on my fridge. I have been using the Family Hub for various reason lately. I know my kids love their chore assignment being visible on the screen daily. I needed a fridge with a lot of space since we shop for groceries daily. I was pleasantly surprised of how spacious this fridge is. I’m able to fit a lot of my normal products I purchase and a lot more. The door bins are plentiful, I just wish they were a bit larger in order to hold more items. I do love the spacious drawers down below though. The drawer is on the larger side and it can hold a lot. Moving over to the freezer, it’s a pretty good size. I’m able to fit all the items I need comfortably. I really thought the icemaker was giving me trouble when my fridge first arrived. In 24 hours, I only had about 6 ice cubes in the door bin. It took a couple of days to really get going. It fills pretty quickly now since I use ice for my water very often. The freezer could have been a tad bit larger, but I’m happy with the space and design. Overall, the family is really pleased with Samsung’s 2020 fridge. I recommend this fridge for all families.

i really wanted to love this product! i am listing the things i would want to know before i purchased. the ice machine is slow! it makes 8 cubes of ice 3 times a day. the freezer door does not suction shut then the items in the freezer thaw just a small amount. no alarm sound for this. we've had to throw away a few gallons of milk, we kept it in the door area so we moved it & the problem stopped. dents super easily! the finger prints are ridicoulus! very annoying. i had the fridge all set up & then had to update the software. the picture for inside the fridge only shows items on the 2 shelves right in front of the camera. the water leaks a small amount we always have a stain on the shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that when my husband came to me about purchasing a new refrigerator, I didn’t think it was necessary because there was nothing wrong with our current refrigerator. However, having the new Samsung side-by-side with the Family Hub for the last couple of weeks has really been a game changer. First of all, the unit looks gorgeous and I like that the black stainless is slightly darker than older models. I love how this refrigerator seems so spacious compared to our last model and I love that the storage space in the doors is much more generous for storing the larger items. I also think that the freezer is better designed and slightly larger in the side-by-side because it is far easier to organize and find things quicker than with the chest style freezer in the French door model units where everything is stacked upon itself and sometimes you have to dig to the bottom of the unit just to get something that you need. I think that the only trade-off is that you do lose a little space in the vegetable bins with the side-by-side versus the French door model. Both sides of the unit are well-lit with LED lighting and the temperature control is excellent keeping both the refrigerated and frozen foods at the perfect temperature. The icemaker and water through the door work really well and being purified have no odor or chlorine taste. What makes this new refrigerator special is definitely the Family Hub. Being a nurse who works the 3rd shift, it’s really nice to be able to create shopping lists and leave notes and I can even draw a picture if I want to. I installed the Samsung Family Hub app onto my phone and now I can view what is in the refrigerator while shopping and see my shopping list in addition to other apps that the refrigerator offers. I really love the animated screensaver that is correlated to the current weather and shows snowflakes if it’s snowing and raindrops if it’s raining. I love the fact that I can listen to Pandora, IHeart radio, or Spotify while in the kitchen and I am amazed at how clear and how loud the speakers can get. They sound amazing and I look forward to when we have people over and can have the music playing on the refrigerator. I am an avid Pinterest user and so I was happy to see that Pinterest was one of the apps that the refrigerator offered. Now I can pull up my recipes and have them displayed on the refrigerator while I am cooking and the Internet app can take me to YouTube and do Google searches. The calendar is synced with my phone and keeps me organized and the meal planner is very useful as well. I have to admit, I love the new refrigerator and it was a great purchase.

We got it in the black stainless steel and very happy with that color. Truly a great fridge and don't think twice about purchasing, you will be satisfied.

i love the samsung fridge so much, it's big and cool looking. the food is fresh all the time and it works very well. i didn't change the water filter yet, as i heard it would be hard to change it, we'll see. the family hub screen option is lovely and the water/ ice maker place, makes the big mug fit perfect. thanks samsung :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this 2 months ago and it has been a great refrigerator thus far. There is ample space and it looks great in the kitchen. The touchscreen tablet-like features are neat, but more of a show off gimmicky feature than a game changing fridge option. Streaming Spotify through the fridge is cool. The speaker has surprising quality. My kids like the whiteboard to draw on. I send them nice or funny notes and pictures through the family hub app. The only drawback is the screen location, it is far too low. My 6 y/o is the only person in the family who doesn’t have to bend down to have the screen at eye level. Overall, we’re very happy with the purchase.

The only hiccup I would say when closing refrigerator door hard sometimes design is flawed to pop open freezer side slightly. This doesn't set the door open alarm off guessing because its only a crack. This causes freezer items to defrost that is on the freezer door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely impressed with the size of this refrigerator. I have to say I didn't like the look at first. I never had a side-by-side fridge before and didn't like that it didn't have door handles like my old one. After installing, I quickly saw the pros of the fridge that it didn't bother me it didn't have door handles. The side-by-side works better than what I had. Everything can be organized better and is visible, specially in the freezer side. The trays on the doors are not adjustable but I can still accommodate mostly anything I want to store there. I can store some items on the lower shelves so the kids can access them without reaching and making a mess. The trays on the door can catch any spills and can easily be removed and washed. I really enjoy the Family Hub, I can access my favorite music while I'm cooking or preparing snacks. My daughter also write notes she leaves on the screen for me and my husband to read. The ice makes and water dispenser work really good, fills the ice tray in les than 24 hours. This is a great fridge with great updates and lots of space.

I thoroughly enjoy the amazon music app installed as I have a subscription for that. Power freeze and power cool are a nice feature as well. I love the family hub, I have pictures and videos of my kids on the homescreen. Love the shopping list. View inside usually is foggy due to condensation and it only shows the two middle shelves. My complaints are the space in both the refrigerator and freezer, drawer space is almost nill. My other issue is that Bixby is stuck in the town I purchased the unit and there is no option to change it to my own.

Very good storage, both in refrigerator and freezer. Cooling is awesome. It goes around 360 degrees. Ice cubes come out in good shape. Family hub makes it easy to play music, explore recipes and lot other fun stuff. Door has good number of racks to keep the small stuff and easy to find them when needed. Overall the design is absolutely fantastic and comfortable to use in day to day life. I would highly recommend this fridge. Well last but not the least, my kids add all the items in the fridge to the lists with the expiration dates on the family hub and I see all the great food recommendations!! Kids also push the pictures of the food we make on to the gallery and it is an awesome place now with songs, display.
