[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpha Brain supplement was a disappointment. I was able to get past the nausea by making sure to take it after a full meal. However I had to discontinue taking it, because it caused me to have uncontrollable eye spasms for hours after.

The capsules themselves cost about a dollar each and that’s really expensive for it to not guarantee its brain affects. Some ingredients can be harmful, especially if you already have any underlying health conditions. It has minimum to no taste because you’re just swallowing the capsule not chewing it open. Also affects do not seem to be long term if you do feel any affect, that is. If it’s L-theanine you’re after, I recommend you get it from a different product.

I’ve been taking Alpha Brain religiously for 4 weeks straight. Two pills, every day, at the same time. Nothing has changed. I’m not the least bit focused, my cognitive memory has no change, my word recall is no different. Definitely not worth the money I paid. I figured I’d at least give it a shot and it failed. I would not recommend buying it.

This is a fine product and it appears to do what it says it does. My biggest problem with this product are the proprietary blends it uses. The way proprietary work are you just have to name the total amount that is in the blend and not the physical amount of each compound in the blend You also have to name them in the order you used them in the blend. So it is possible to use This is just an example for the Onnit Flow Blend, but would apply to the other two blends in this supplement. This blend is good and fine but its hard to say that its not almost 650mg of the Flow blend is mostly l-tyrosine, or l-theanine, and oat extract and the Phosphatidylserine is dusted (just light used or even almost not used, but used so they can say it in the blend). What my problem is that almost all the “good stuff” in each of the blends is almost impossible to know how much is actually in it. I could do it with the other two blends, but I wont and I think I made my point. It is impossible to really know what you are getting and how much you are getting of each compound. So I wont be buying this again, until each amount is stated rather than stated as a blend.

No negative side effects for me and definitely helps me focus and get work done. Normally I’m very easily sidetracked but not anymore! Start a task-end a task. Simple as that. Alpha Brain just somehow gets me motivated, focused, and my energy lasted almost all day!

With the right nootropics, you can't have a lousy day. Such a well-balanced formula as this is a huge help for me when it comes to planning, executing, and feeling great throughout my day. I also find that my dreams are more vivid and sometimes lucid when I am taking Alpha Brain. I definitely recommend giving this a try, because life is what you make it, but to do so you need the right ingredients!

While the packaging and ingredients seemed promising, I honestly didn’t notice much of a difference in my day-to-day productivity or concentration. It might work better for others, but for me, the effects were minimal at best. Given the price point, I expected more noticeable results. The taste and capsules were fine, but the overall effectiveness didn’t meet my expectations.
