It’s like a wired thing to ur ps5 and if ur to far away from ur ps5 it won’t work you need to have the same wifi network as this ps5

Really nice for when you can't sit at your tv. If you are having lag issues try putting the portal on the 5g wifi connection and hardwiring your ps5

My adult grandkids showed up with this handheld system. So I decided to get my husband one so while he is having Chemo or in hospital, he can play with them and even hear them talk to each other. Very uplifting. So far the distance between our system. Which is an hour and a half away. In a little bit remote. Reception was awesome. Nurses came in to look at it. Even tried it out and they were sold.

I wasn’t even trying to give this a star it deserves 0 stars this was a waste of investment and technology. You would think this a handheld game created for on the go when you somewhere else on WiFi without having to carry or have your game system with you but it’s not this was pointless. A tv come first before a game we got that for the house if we got the game system duh what about on the go like Nintendo Switch did they got the home system and the on the go version. I’m so disappointed with Sony Playstation with this dumb invention and waste of technology

Sony sure has some nerve releasing this garbage to the public.. my ps5 is wired into incredibly fast internet, and I have really good internet at work, but the portal WILL NOT connect to my ps5 when I’m away from home. Works okay at home, but I have no use for the portal at home. Literally doesn’t do the one thing it’s designed to do. I’ve had item less than 24 hours, and I’m returning it ASAP.

In my case I bought it physically at a Walmart in Puerto Rico. I must say that the quality is very good and it works well as long as you have fast internet. Although I had my doubts about buying it when it came out in November, I recently bought it and I must say that it is better than I expected. You can be lying in your bed and play with your PlayStation. Oh, if some one it’s using the television at home and you want to play PlayStation portal is also a good option. Personally, I have lag in some places when I am away from the house, but we return to the topic that I live in Puerto Rico and not everywhere we have good internet, I use the hostpot on my phone to play outside the house, including my breaktime at work. Now if you prefer something that does not require internet to play, this is not for you and your best option would be a steam deck. I am happy with my purchase
