it's nice. However, if you dont have the top tier of PS , it's not fully worth it yet. You will need to play around with your hone network settings or hardwire you ps5 in order for it to work seamlessly, but once they fix or patch it, it's not 5 star material yet

Overall it is handy but not perfect. The joysticks make ticking/clicking sounds in a certain direction, something is hitting inside. Adaptive triggers make super loud vibrating noise but can be weakened/disabled in the settings. Also even though I have a hardwired PS5 and have a high-end router nearby in a congestion-free channel, there is a minimal stutter in fast-moving scenes. Remote play on PC and other devices is always smooth, PS Portal is not when it should be. All issues mentioned above are very common if you search online. I will be returning mine and then wait for SONY to fix these issues. My suggestion - ignore PS fanboys blindly buying this thing. Study your network settings and research the fixes for the issues mentioned before purchasing it.

The portal is not what i expected it's even BETTER!! I absolutely love this thing i take witb me everywhere i run it of my phone's hot spot and now play during my lunch break at work or laying down on the bed in another room of my house. Best gift to myself in a long time.

Doesn't have a lot of features. Its better for videos and movies but doesnt run games very well in terms of the general framerate and its constant connectivity issues. I find it consistently disconnects for seemingly no reason with good internet and both devices on the same network in relative proximity to one another. I wanted it for gaming, it doesnt do gaming well.

It’s a good and handy little device that plays your PS5 games through remote play. Good for if you have others that need to sleep and you want to play or if you have limited TV space. Just keep in mind it only works on PS5’s and that you need to be connected to the same internet.

My steam deck was becoming a PS portal so I had to snag one and I have zero regrets. Legit the best PlayStation accessory ever made. It works surprisingly well with zero lag. Playing video games thousands of miles away from my PS5 is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this to any PlayStation 5 owner.

The portal works wonderfully, especially with an ethernet connection! I have had no input delay from the remote play connection and it feels wonderful to play away from home and in bed! i highly recommend this! It feels so much better than playing from remote play on the phone!

Looks nice, pairs easily. Not much different than an iPad and PS5 controller. Screen size nice. Nightmare to use the touchpad with certain games. If you want to use you must be on same WiFi and no one can stream media to the TV using your PS5, which defeats the point of it. You need a Roku/Apple Tv for media while using it. Definitely no competition for the Switch. Kids can’t even take it in the car. This basically turns your PS5 into a 4K Wii U. Save your money.

I liked the portal until I was literally sitting next to the PlayStation and was losing connection and the screen was constantly fuzzy/blurry to where I could barely see what I was doing so I did end up returning the portal. I also, don’t like how you cannot play the play station on a different account the same time as someone else was playing the portal on a separate account.
