I like it because of the fact that wherever I go, I’m connected to my system as much as people think that it’s terrible and it’s not a downloadable game storage system. It’s a personal link system as long as you have a great Wi-Fi Internet system at your home and wherever you go, that has great Wi-Fi it’s super fun and it saved on the system back at home. And someone comes over they wanna watch a movie with my spouse or have a friend night out and I’m in the bedroom or wherever I can still play my PlayStation in the home or outside of the home if people are smart enough doing it and knowing how to.

It’s a good device but a little pricey for the limitations it has. Battery life is poor even on low brightness, relies on two good internet connections, and has occasional lag spikes even on two good connections. Perfect for people who travel frequently and play mostly single player games.With that said I still think it’s worth the investment to get the Steam Deck instead.

connects pretty simple. screen is large and vivid. horrible battery life for such a large item. spotty connection link at times and have to put in airplane mode and back to connect. i wish there were a micro sd slot for more function to play movies, pics, storage and such. sony has a limited imagination and drastically limited the ps5 compared to the ps3. Come on you can't even play an avi file and selective on most others, but i ramble which has nothing to do with the portal. i will be taking it on the road once the case arrives and see how it works. i don't think you will have any regrets, just limitations. they gotta do better and seems they have plateaud instead of pushing the boundary. it is nice to play games while the tv is used by others without bothering them. YouTube says you can play the portal without buying a system, but you need to do your own research

If you would love to play your PS5 in bed but the machine is in the living room here is the gear for you. It does require good wifi so if you lack that this will be a bad investment. Otherwise you can beat taking your gaming to bed or even the toilet is you are one of those gamers ;)

My steam deck was becoming a PS portal so I had to snag one and I have zero regrets. Legit the best PlayStation accessory ever made. It works surprisingly well with zero lag. Playing video games thousands of miles away from my PS5 is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this to any PlayStation 5 owner.

I like it because I thought I can play my own games on it but then I realized that's not what it was for what I didn't like about it it's when my daughter told me I can just buy a controller and stream the game for my tablet so I did not need it and that's what I'm doing now

Super cool for people who can’t sit down and play during the day. I’m laid off for the winter from construction so I have my kids during the day and it definitely comes in handy. Also if you have to go to the in laws and you need to “go to the bathroom” just make sure you left your PS5 on at home and you can play it anywhere as long as you have a decent WiFi connection!

We got this so our daughter can play one device and another person can play another. It is really cool and interesting to handle. We like the mobile aspect. We dont take it far from the ps5, and it is still a little laggy. despite our high-speed internet, we still get some slow down on it. Im sure that's normal as it is a portable connecting to the system. We dont play any hardcore games on the portable anyway. All the ones are laid back so the lag doesn't matter too much. Overalll the graphics are really nice, and we enjoy the screen and handling. It's a little heavier than we thought, but if you keep it downwards, it's easier to hold. We appreciate this system add on and hope to get some good play time out of it!

Picture quality is great. Love the feel of it in my hands. It is extremely comfortable to hold. It’s not very heavy. The issue I have been having is I have super fast internet and when I play on it it lags. Not sure if it is the connection to the ps5 or what. My ps5 is hardwired so that doesn’t lose connection. The portal keeps losing connection with my ps5. Gets frustrating when you are playing a game and it keeps losing the connection. If it wasn’t for this issue it would get 5 stars.
