My adult grandkids showed up with this handheld system. So I decided to get my husband one so while he is having Chemo or in hospital, he can play with them and even hear them talk to each other. Very uplifting. So far the distance between our system. Which is an hour and a half away. In a little bit remote. Reception was awesome. Nurses came in to look at it. Even tried it out and they were sold.

Honestly, this portal isn’t as good as most of these reviews say. It constantly lags or disconnects from your ps5. My WiFi is connected at all times but either the graphics suck or it still disconnects from my ps5. It’s kinda ridiculous how much this thing sucks. I expected so much better from PlayStation. The price isn’t horrible, but if you can’t afford this usually, I don’t exactly recommend unless you want to deal with the issues. Your ps5 has to constantly stay in rest mode if you want to play on the portal and you just have to hope your ps5 doesn’t power off if you’re away from home. This thing has so much potential, but I don’t know why Sony didn’t work on this more and make it work better.

okay everyone thats mad at this product didnt even read or know what they are gonna buy themselves this is definitely for remote play ONLY and honestly this is freaking awesome i love how it handles and the frame rate is lovely . perfect if you need to use the bathroom lol

Shame on you Walmart. Letting a third party overprice using your name. This product is $199. The Playstation Portal is currently out of stock thru Sony Direct but is still only $199. Why would you allow a reseller to triple the price under your name? Do better Walmart get rid of the scammers.

The price for it seems a bit to high Lags a lot very often than normal but not as bad as it did when I first used it. It’s fun to use when I’m away from home but the connection issue is horrible. Still lots of bugs Sony needs to fix before it improves but other than that it fun to have and play on. The machine seems very delicate so be extra careful when handling. I do recommend this system for others to buy, it reminds me of a switch but I can actually play my Sony games.

I did not purchase via Walmart but I do own the device and I’m in love with it. It’s very convenient. Works well.. just make sure your WiFi is GOOD and u will be very pleased. I’m extremely happy with my purchase of this item

everywhere else is selling it for 199.99$ this double what you pay at other stores. i wouldnt waste my money buying it. you can get notfied about when its available at other places as well.

Internet connection sucks on it …. Even when you’re connected to strong WiFi, it still constantly disconnects. Completely takes the fun out the game. And as much as I love Sony I would definitely consider this item to useless.
