U can be across state or country and use this long as ur PS5 console is on rest mode and u have to have a strong Wi-Fi connected to the portal when u away

Internet connection sucks on it …. Even when you’re connected to strong WiFi, it still constantly disconnects. Completely takes the fun out the game. And as much as I love Sony I would definitely consider this item to useless.

Do not buy no matter how good someone tells you it is!!! The streaming without a ps5 is true but it’s 18 a month or 200 a year which is not worth the small amount of games. Plus the network connection on it is terrible

Justin is wrong, you do no need to be tethered to the home network. You can play from any wifi connection as long as it's strong enough. You can stream your home PS5 games from anywhere.

The device is too pricey for it not to pair property. You’re suppose to be able to use anywhere like the remote play app. That isn’t the case. You can only pair when you’re directly in front of your ps5 console.

Graphics are Great but don’t buy it if you use Dual sense edge controller,It gonna ruin your controller skills.

You can play this on ANY WiFi connection not just on home WiFi you can also play away from home as long as have a good WiFi connection
