This does not taste like beef. it was only OK - IF we covered it in pasta sauce or strong seasonings. We tried making our nor.al stove top hamburgers but it sure didnt taste like a burger.

This very good quality meat. 88-12 is a great ratio. I use it for all my recipes. I get it home, divide it into 1-11/2 pound bunches then wrap and place in my freezer. Sam’s is the best price although it has increased over the last year but what hasn’t!

We have bought this product for years, but the last two batches of this ground beef have had lots of gristle and even some bone bits in them. Almost every bite has gristle. Sams needs to check their ground beef providers and make sure their packages are gristle and bone free. If someone breaks a tooth on bone in Sam’s Club ground beef, there may be a lawsuit.

I’ve eaten this a lot I’ve eaten this a lot in the past but this time it’s got lumps and is super chewy. Just doesn’t taste right . Maybe they’re mixing gristle in with it? idk, but I’ll probably be throwing it out. Won’t buy again. I’m the past but this time something is different.

How can ground beef be tough and chewy!!! I bought 3 packages in November…all of them are tough and chewy with gristle…ugh! We have used it for taco meat, soup, and meat loaf…it is tough and chewy any way it is cooked. We have been getting all our meet from Sams for years and it has never been like this.

The date of packaging was Aug 22. It expired after Aug 24. I ordered online for curbside pickup. This has happened a few times and I'm no longer going to buy fresh meats from Sam's Club. I can't afford to keep throwing away $20 of expired meats because I don't expect meats I buy to expire in two days after purchase. I'm tired of pickers grabbing the oldest meats for my curbside pickup. I have this problem with no other grocery stores in the area. Typically, those are good for 5-7 days after purchase while I often get 2 days with Sam's. I'm done with this.

I have been working in the food industry for 30 years and this meat is beef, true it all comes from a cow. If you love organs and brains and don't mind it being mixed into your ground beef then by all means buy this disgusting meat. I will continue buying Dillon's meat. I do not work for Dillon's but they are the only place in my area that sells real meat, when it comes to a large supermarket.

I have bought this many times, but lately the quality is awful. I bought 2 packages and I made Albondiga soup with one, When I was rolling the meatballs you can feel and see so much grease. When I was done the bowl had so much fat residue at the bottom.. With the other pack I fried it to make tacos, While frying it released so much grease and it smelled, even when I washed the pan, it had a lingering smell of the fat, I had to bleach the pan because it smelled disgusting. What is going on with the quality?? I made soup again and I bought the ground chuck, only 10% fat, I hope it works better!

I thought maybe it was me but recently the ground beef I bought has been chewy. I have never had ground beef chewy before. I thought it was just the one package I bought awhile ago, but the one I bought yesterday was the same way. I was happy to see others noticed the same thing, as I thought it was just me. Does anyone know what’s going on??

We've bought Sam's Club ground beef for years. Last week we bought a package to make burgers and had to throw them all out due to a weird chemical taste. Thought it was just a bad package, so bought another one yesterday and cooked up taco meat tonight and same thing. It's disgusting. Not sure what they're doing different, but avoid this stuff at all costs. Complete waste of money. (I'm not the only one complaining. I've seen dozens of other bad reviews with the same problem in the last two weeks.)
