The top three ground beef in the city of Lincoln. The daily price is better then the grocery store sale price week in and week out. The best is Sam's club 10 pound 92 percent lean tubes. And the third best is Sam's club smashed burgers frozen, the fourth best is Sam's club Angus patties frozen. Sam's club the best place to buy meat.... Ground beef, carver hams, rotisserie chicken, the members mark chicken in a can bears brand name, for quality. More chicken less water and grease every time.

This is a great product if you go get it yourself. Unfortunately, when you do pick up, the shoppers don’t pay attention to best by date. We have needed up getting this as pick up on the date it was oxidizing and tastes nasty. When I get it myself, I check the date and only purchase if there are 3-5 days till the “best of used by” date. As long as you cook it or freeze it before it starts browning, it’s delicious. Once it browns, even a little it’s just plain nasty. IMO

This 80/20 really didn't have 20% grease it had less I actually had to add a little oil when I was cooking it to make tacos very pleased

Lean but not too lean. It does need to be cooked within a day or two after purchasing. Great value for the money.

This is not the same ground beef I've bought for over 20 yrs. Too much fat, not the same texture or taste. Quality ground beef is a major reason for a Sam's membership. Do better

Bar code on meat package wouldn't scan & numbers were obliterated so unable to manually enter. I rang meat department service bell to ask for meat to be reweighed so new label would be scannable. After waiting for 5 minutes (with 3 bell rings), I gave up.

The weight of the chopped meat in the actual package is never the same as the weight that is marked on the package. The package i bought was marked as 4.99 pounds but was actually only 4 lbs when I weighed it at home. I was unable to get the money back for the difference between the pounds. In addition there seems to be more fat in the meat than the percentage amount said on the package.

This is the third time we've bought this MM 88/12 ground beef and it's always around 2/3lb underweight! I weight it and vacuum seal it in 1 lb packages and it's always significantly short of the weight on the label. My scale has been calibrated and weighs dead on at every other store including Walmart except for Sam's Club. This has been going on for almost a year and we will never buy this ground beef again. Prices are way though to be getting shorted 1/2 - 2/3 lb every time. This is at their main Bentonville, AR store.

The meat smelt really really bad. I mean, I’ve bought marked down meat before that didn’t smell like that. I’ve accidentally left meat in my trunk for half a day that didn’t smell like that. It smelt worse than meat I’ve left in the fridge for over 2 weeks that I’ve forgotten about. I was seriously shocked that they would even consider putting it out for consumers to buy. I came back, returned it, went and got another package that had a newer date and time and that one also smelt just as bad which makes we wonder if they just repacked it and put it back out. The lady at the return counter said that she’s been getting many ground beef returns that day. I’ve always made an effort to buy my ground beef at Sam’s club instead of going elsewhere but now I’m hesitant and I don’t know when I’ll trust Sam’s club ground beef again. It’s going to take a lot of time and a lot of convincing before I’ll buy beef from Sam’s club again.

I requested a refund on this meat. It was turning brown not two days later. I spoke with no less than 4 reps on the chat site. All were rude and kind of condescending. It’s been 13+ days and I’m still waiting for the refund!
