Lean but not too lean. It does need to be cooked within a day or two after purchasing. Great value for the money.

I bought seven of these Thursday on sale. Opened one today. Really disappointed. Some bone chips as in the 90/10 chubs recently, and some kind of tissue that does not break up no matter how long you chew it. Ugh!

Divide it up and make multiple meals

The meat smelt really really bad. I mean, I’ve bought marked down meat before that didn’t smell like that. I’ve accidentally left meat in my trunk for half a day that didn’t smell like that. It smelt worse than meat I’ve left in the fridge for over 2 weeks that I’ve forgotten about. I was seriously shocked that they would even consider putting it out for consumers to buy. I came back, returned it, went and got another package that had a newer date and time and that one also smelt just as bad which makes we wonder if they just repacked it and put it back out. The lady at the return counter said that she’s been getting many ground beef returns that day. I’ve always made an effort to buy my ground beef at Sam’s club instead of going elsewhere but now I’m hesitant and I don’t know when I’ll trust Sam’s club ground beef again. It’s going to take a lot of time and a lot of convincing before I’ll buy beef from Sam’s club again.

Great for homemade burgers taco night or quick weekday dinners hamburger helper or a meatloaf the options are endless.

Very affordable price,made taco for the family. Everyone enjoyed it beefy flavor and it wasn't too fat.

Could be a little leaner, wish sams carried 93% but 88% is good, price is a lot better than super markets, unless super markets has it on sale, then they beat sams

Might be OK for something that cooks down for many hours, otherwise the texture was like chewing a mouthful of rubber bands. It was very off putting.

This is the second time I get bits of bone small bits part of the ground beef and so not buying this again. That in addition to the 80% beef 20% fat there is no way this seems like 30 fat and included. I’m sure it’s good for some people, but I’m not buying this again, however, I will continue to shop at Sam because I love the store and their products in general

Excellent quality, but beef is very expensive everywhere.
