I wasn't happy with the meat this time. I buy tons of it & bust into 1.5# packages for recipes & it works out great! This time, for the first time the meat was tuff after cooking & wasn't tender. Plus it did not taste as good. I don't know why but not as good as usual. Sorry.

For the quantity and price, I find it a bit expensive. Price has steadily increased within a year which makes no sense if beef cattle is from the US. Don't see how tariff would effect this. Walmart has ground beef cheaper but it contains more fat. I find ALDI's ground beef much cheaper but in smaller packs. If you really need a large pack, then I guess it's an ok deal, saving you gas and a trip to another store.

I preferred the 93% lean ground beef that use to be sold. But, I understand to keep the price in line the mix needed to be reduced in fat/meat content. Good value. Also, wish the packages would hit the five pound weight. They have been reduced to about four and three quarters in weight.

This was the toughest hamburger. It wasn’t fatty but I could see lots of connective tissue in it.
