Opening the package, the meat smelled terrible. It wasn't tainted as far as I could tell, just didn't smell very good. Good thing we bought this for our dog.

I bought seven of these Thursday on sale. Opened one today. Really disappointed. Some bone chips as in the 90/10 chubs recently, and some kind of tissue that does not break up no matter how long you chew it. Ugh!

This meat has a bad taste to it. I ended up throwing it out after cooking about a 1/4 of it. I buy in bulk and separate into freezer bags. Food is too expensive to be throwing out but I didn't want to be sick

I bought a food scale recently and found that their ground beef weight was less than the package stated. The last package was over 7oz. less and this is not just a one time deal.

Company of friends was not very enthused with the taste of hamburgers on the grill. Used the product the day after bought and added just salt & pepper. Very disappointed... will not buy again

We have purchase our last package of ground beef from Sam's. The last package of ground beef we bought was full bone shards, gristle and was very fatty. We are really disappointed. Never again.

I was very disappointed in the ground chuck I purchased. I found a bone and this is the second batch of meat I have found a bone in. That’s really pretty dangerous.

They use to sell this at 90% lean and then one day it was down to 88% . I guess that's not much of a difference. This meat is good as far as ground beef goes. The quality is good and the price is always better than anywhere else in town.

This is the second time I get bits of bone small bits part of the ground beef and so not buying this again. That in addition to the 80% beef 20% fat there is no way this seems like 30 fat and included. I’m sure it’s good for some people, but I’m not buying this again, however, I will continue to shop at Sam because I love the store and their products in general

I preferred the 93% lean ground beef that use to be sold. But, I understand to keep the price in line the mix needed to be reduced in fat/meat content. Good value. Also, wish the packages would hit the five pound weight. They have been reduced to about four and three quarters in weight.
