[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 28.0 cu. ft. Smart Side-by-Side Refrigerator RS28A500ASR. The Power Freeze function is great to quickly freeze frozen items that have thawed out a bit from the travel from the grocery store to home. The Power Cool is a nice function to cool down the refrigerator from the constant open and closing due to multiple family members going in and out of the refrigerator. The bright interior LED lighting is amazingly bright and makes finding items in the fridge easy. The 2-Minute Door Alarm is always nice to let you know if the fridge was left open for to long and a nice reminder to make sure it stays closed when not in use. The Samsung SmartThings App to control the temperature and monitor your refrigerator remotely is a very convenient way to check to make sure the rest of the family members are keeping the fridge closed when not in use to keep everything in it nice and cool. The fingerprint resistance surface definitely makes the constant fingerprints less noticable and if you do see them it's easy to wipe it clean. The large capacity easily houses all of our old refrigerators contents and has room for way more! All of the contents stay at a cool temperature even with multiple people opening and closing the refrigerator at different times of the day. I would still purchase this refrigerator at full price since it works so well!

Plenty of room, quiet operation, and an ice maker that works and is sufficient for 2 + heavy ice users on even the hottest of days. Easy to clean-no extra ridges to collect spills. Holds temperatures as set. No complaints at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I desperately needed a new refrigerator. I looked at a lot with bottom freezers, but I realized they just didn’t hold enough for my family. This side by side is perfect. Plenty of room and it’s countertop depth. We did manage to scratch it already with a magnet. I’m kind of upset by that. It’s the only fault with it -that it scratched so easily. It’s not even a month old.

The refrigerator is stunningly beautiful with absolutely gorgeous doors- no 'side-by-side' fridge from your past can prepare you. The model I chose does not include a water dispenser, as these eventually leak/break. Use Brita pitchers instead. The refrigerator is huge. A frozen pizza can lay flat in the freezer. The unit is especially deep and yet you can easily reach the back of the shelves due to the thoughtful configuration out of the box. The control panel is very easy to understand and use, unlike prior and more expensive models.

my garage refrigerator finally bit the dust and decided to get this refrigerator. this was a really good price/value refrigerator. here are the pros: modern design super super quiet wifi connectivity shows current temperature for freezer/fridge as well as the settings, door closed or not, and energy consumption charts and daily energy usage. extra deep shelves well built great value shows current temp in freezer and frig on the control panel and set temperature super thick doors cons: not really a con but the refrigerator is extra deep. normally a refrigerator would have handles that stick out, but this refrigerator doors are the handles, so the actual depth of this refrigerator is the same as a refrigerator measurement that includes the handle bumpout.

don't buy this product. they should recall it! to fix this freezing issue samsung made a special back panel replacement to redirect the cold air flow, but the fix did not correct it. one star as i got a refund for it, but not worth all this hassle to toss frozen food, now have to replace my frig.

We have modern and sleek appliances through the rest of the kitchen, so this fits right in and gives our kitchen a seamless look. The large doors are great for all types of bottles and containers which saves so much space in the actual fridge. It is so quiet I have to open the door to check it's still running. So far it is a great purchase and the app is great in case anyone leaves the door open or there are other issues.
