Bought several bags of this potting soil last year. It was wonderful. Bought six bags this year and it was awful. There a huge amount of chunks of wood of up to 4” in length and up to 2” wide in the two bags I opened. Surprising me even more was that I found rusted metal bars in two of the bags I opened. About the circumference of a coat hanger (16 gage) and were all 8” long, bent in half. I returned the other bags as they were unusable.

I bought several bags of this mix this spring. The bags purchased early on were an acceptable and usable potting mix ( see the pot pictured on the left). The bag I purchased today is nothing but coarse wood chips with the consistency of cheap mulch (see the pot pictured on the right). Very disappointing. Probably won't buy it again. I am not much of a gambler when it comes to gardening.

This stuff is straight up.Shredded mulch, I dumped a little pile of miracle, grow soil side of it.You can clearly see the difference between soil and mulch. This is almost like the post covid stuff they were trying to sell. Would of bought miracle grow Sam's sold out.

Just like other reviews said, has a lot of mulch chunks mixed in. I'm hesitant to use to completly fill my pot, so I used it to fill my bottoms of my new planters and will use my miracle grow at the tops, where my plants will be. Will add to my review if anything changes!

This product is very rich in color with a small amount of what looks like styrofoam in it. It is incredibly lightweight. That was actually problematic fir me as I am not very steady handed so I did get some outside of the j tended area. I used it to top off my house plants. There was virtually no odor from this product which I liked. Overall I would use this product again but replant or top off my plants outside.

No way is this product potting soil. It looks like half rotted compost that needs another year. It’s so full of sticks there is no way you can plant a small seed in a starter pack. Just too much wood in the way. No detectable vermiculite or other additive. Stick with the brand name. You’re wasting your money on this overpriced stuff whatever it is. Wish I could post a picture of what it looks like in a tray of starter packs

I love my plants and this year I have added a small garden spot. I have always been an avid user of Miracle Grow and still am but I have been using Member's Mark Potting Mix Planting Soil and I have learned that it works just as well and is less expensive. I am now using Expert Fertilizers and other of their products. I am getting my gardening done at lower costs.

I have many plants and am always looking for good potting mix to help them stay healthy and grow. I like the Member's Mark soil because it has many ingredients in that are good for indoor plants. Its texture is light and not dense and has additives that help my plants stay healthy. It is a large bag and will go along way. I also like that there are many detailed instructions on how to use the soil on the back of the bag. I highly recommend.

This is great potting mix. I definitely do not have a green thumb and have been know to kill quite a few plants but I keep trying. This plant was my last survivor and was not looking hot. I replanted it with this potting mix and have set my phone alarm to check on her and she is looking better! The potting mix seems to hold moisture pretty well and is sort of fluffy.

This is by far my favorite potting mix. It is the best price in our area and we had great success for growing potatoes in buckets and seed starting with it last year! It is nice and loose, but holds water fairly well and isn't mostly sticks like some others I have used.
