my veggie %26outdoor flowers/plants are not thriving nor are they lookinf healthy compared to other years when using Name Brand potting mix. there is SO much mulch %26 wood chips i dont see how the plants can gain any nutritional value from MM potting soil this year. i have used this many years in the past, but i am very, very disappointed this year. i but 12 giant bags every year %26 never been this unhappy. i am having to repot everythg in hopes of harvesting a few tomatoes %26 cukes. Hope its not too late, now the end of June, planted mid- May %26 all plants look stunted🥺

I'm really disappointed in the quality of this potting mix. When we opened the bag, the mix was dried out, hard clumps and had a white coating on top. Digging deeper into the bag, we not only found mold in but it smelled horrendous. The plants I used this for are dying. This product is unusable.

Had always bought the Miracle Grow moisture control potting soil that Sams carried but since it wasn't available this year I tried this. I used 27 bags for all my pots and planters. Every bag was dry and full of bark pieces, which have almost all started to grow different kinds of mushrooms and fungus. Every person I have talked to as well who bought this is experiencing the same thing. I will never use this soil again!

I'm a Member's Mark fan, but this potting soil is horrible. I bought 35 bags. About half were dried up cubes that I had to run water over and chop up to use. I've planted hundreds of pots and raised beds over the years, and this product just doesn't measure up. None of my flowers or vegetable plants have done well. I will never buy it again. It's back to Miracle Grow for me.

Throughout the month of April, I purchased many bags of this soil, but the last bag purchased Mid June is not the same soil, if you can even call it that. It is so light and filled greatly with newspaper thickness wood shavings, it's more like gerbil bedding. It's all I have so I'm using it even though the quality is poor.

I have to agree with many other raters, this soil has too much wood/bark in it to be effective potting soil, especially for smaller pots. It's in a blue bag to appear llike a well known competitor but is nothing like it. The bottom line is it does not work as well, halfway through the summer and my plants are not as healthy as past years. I recommend avoiding.

I bought several bags earlier this spring and I was very satisfied with the potting soil. When I went back to get another bag a few weeks ago, I was shocked at what I got. The bag was very light, so light that I could pick it up with one hand. I thought it was just dried out from sitting outside. When I got it home and opened the bag, I realized why it was light. It is more like pine shavings than potting soil. There is nothing in it to retain moisture.

I purchased this potting mix to help transplant flowers from my daughters school growing project. It worked fantastically and the flowers are thriving. I had some leftover and used it to transplant some emerging seedlings I was growing indoors. All my plants are thriving and would recommend this to anyone.

The mix was heavy on wood chips and was apparently hot trying to break down wood. Because of these it really hurt my seedlings when I potted them up. Had to repot and remove this potting mix from the roots. I would NOT recommend unless you are just looking to fill a spot. This product would work well as mulch…lol!

This is the WORST!! I have bought my potting soil from Sam's Club every year for at least 5 years but this has changed. It's THE worst potting soil I've ever used. It's been 4-6 weeks and most of my plants are struggling, I'm an avid gardener, plenty of experience, and I'll never buy this again.
