This soil was terrible. My plants never grew to their potential and looked sick all summer. Maybe it was due to the fact that the soil looked to have uncomposted mulch filling the bag.

I’ve been buying Sam’s soil for a few years now and have always been very satisfied. Not sure what’s happened but none of the flowers I’ve planted in this soil are doing well. My porch impatiens are usually huge by now but not this year. It’s very sad. I have another bag that hasn’t been opened but I definitely will not be using it.

I always have used Miracle Grow soil for my summer flowers . This year I tried Members Mark soil. Horrible idea. It is filled with wood chips, tons of sticks I picked out, slot of fillers. My plants that thrive every summer are not doing well. I bought 4 bags and they are not worth the money. I will spend the extra money for Miracle Grow in my future. I should have returned the bags.

I deeply regret buying this potting soil. I used several different brands this season for grow bags, pots, etc. Every plant that's planted in this soil is not doing well compared to the other soils. It's mostly wood, very heavy and maybe a bit hydrophobic. I trusted the Member's Mark brand but shouldn't have.

I was not happy with this potting soil. Too much bark. I bought 6 bags and they were all the same. I like to plant seeds in the pots and I had to clear out all the bark. My plants are not growing as well as in the past. Not sure if it is the weather or the potting mix. Please bring back Miracle Grow potting soil.

inconsistent. I purchased three bags at different times. The first bag was amazing, my plants are large and beautiful. The second bag I purchased I noticed a lot of mulchi chips in there and those flowers look less healthy. The third bag that I bought you could pick the entire bag up with two fingers. it was so lightweight, and when I opened it it's nothing but tree shavings lightweight sawdust is basically what it is. nothing's going to grow in that. I'm not sure what's going on but it is definitely not consistent and when you go to purchase it, the lighter the bag the worse the soil. I've added pictures in the order of bag, one, two, three.

This is the worst potting soil one could ever find. It's awfully hard, full of mulch, compacts faster than anything. My plants are barely growing. I bought 11 bags of it. I am adding a picture, the bitter gourd plant in the right is planted in miracle gro moisture control potting mix which was a leftover from last year. The 3 inch plant in the left is planted in the brand new sams club potting mix. They were planted together yet you can see the difference. Now I invested more than $400 and it's all wasted for this soil. I wish I knew it before. DON'T BUY THIS if you really want your plants to thrive and make proper use of your money. Moreover, weird mushrooms keep growing in this awful soil. None of my other plants are growing well. Tomato,pepper, bell pepper, eggplant or cucumber. I haven't got a single cucumber or eggplant yet. It never happened to me before. They should be ashamed of selling this and calling moisture control and nutrient additions.

This seems like a good value, but there are a lot of wood pieces and I bought a lot of bags for large pots of my cannas this year to save some money instead of using Miracle-Gro. All of my pots with the Canna tubers that I had saved from last year and planted this year are very stunted and do not look anything like previous years. Their leaves are stunted and not growing vigorously. It seems as if some of the nitrogen is getting tied up in the soil with the wood chips and so the plants cannot thrive as before.

I normally use Miracle Gro Moisture Control Potting Soil, which Sam's Club has carried in the past. Since it wasn't available at my Sam's Club location, I thought I would try this potting soil. The majority of my potted plants are doing poorly this year, and I am wondering if it is attributable to this soil? I have 40 plus years of gardening experience and have rarely had the disappointing results that I have had this year.

It's not very good as far as having nutrients for the plants. We decided to give it a try after years of using another's product. Almost 1/2 the cost but the plants are not doing any way near as well. We're amending heavily with fertilizer to get some growth going. Wouldn't buy this again.
