Its been hit or miss with strawberries this winter... sometimes they aren't even in stock, and other times theres more than can fit into one cooler display... but lately, whatever variety is current, the color is a black-red and the flavor is missing. When another variety comes on we'll start buying again... we like them to taste like strawberries.

I purchased in October so I am not sure if that is why they did not have a lot of flavor, but they did not taste sweet. I never purchased strawberries from Sam's club so I am not sure if in the summer the strawberries taste better or if this was just a bad batch, but I will not be trying again for awhile.

Cant trust what is selected for curbside pickup! I’ve tried here twice because what I’ve purchased in store has been wonderful. However, what I received curbside was not good. One basket was totally molded and the other had several molded berries. Both had to be trashed. What a waste of money! It’s a 20-30 minute drive to the club, so it isn’t a quick return.

This was my first time using Sam's Club Order Online & Pick Up. I had ordered strawberries for pickup & the pickers chose strawberries that were ripe, delicious & sweet. Sam's Club's strawberries are always very good. I would definitely use the Order Online & Pickup option again.

The strawberries were leaking strawberry juice when I purchased them, but they looked very fresh, so I purchased them anyway. Unfortunately, there were several rotten strawberries hiding in the middle and underneath the fresh strawberries and that’s never happened before. This brand of strawberries is always super fresh and delicious, so I’ll continue to buy them:)

Sometimes Sam's strawberries are wonderful and delicious; other times, the whole shipment looks like it got bruised up, and you can't find a clamshell that has four decent strawberries in it. I don't even bother to open and check them anymore. I just glance and if I see a few bruised ones, I'm out.

Plan on eating these as soon as you get home. It is a roll of the dice as far as home shelf life with these berries. They are large, and sometimes you lose flavor in exchange for size. Instead of red berry through and through, you get hard white fruit in the center. And half the time they mold in a day or two (which they did this time). We ended up feeding the mushy remains to our chickens, which was easier than bagging them up and returning them.

I bought strawberries marked from Florida. Knowing they were out of season in NE I thought they might be good coming from Florida. Was I wrong! They arrived in my delivery order mostly green and some with a tad of mold. I can’t think the shopper selected the worst package available. Too soon to buy strawberries!! Even though I had been craving them, I’ll just wait until they are in season.

We eat bunches and bunches of fruit...build you immune system as well as avoiding sweets and highly processed food...if you want to be healthy stay away from processed foods and meat and sugar filled products...I'm really glad that Sam's has a good selection of fruits year round...they always seem to have strawberries and blue berries...Thanks!

Got 2 of the strawberries and the top ones looked good but when I got them home there were many, many bad ones in each box. These are usually very good and fresh. But not this time. This about the only place I get my fruit. Hope it doesn't happen again or I won't be getting them.
