My children eat fruit like there is no tomorrow so I couldn't pass up the great deal I saw on these berries while passing through the cooler. At first glance, they were beautifully red and had a pleasant aroma through the carton which I find typically denotes sweetness. While they were much sweeter than most berries I've been able to find in WI at this time of year, they quickly spoiled and I ended up having to cut spots out and toss a few berries the next day. Definitely only purchase if able to consume within the next day or two.

I have never been disappointed with the strawberries delivered by Sam's. I typically order at least eight 2-pound units of strawberries at random. Each order arrives fresh and cool at my doorstep. As someone who consumes a large quantity of strawberries, this service is a godsend.

I've ordered these from pick up half a dozen times and each time they are moldy and/or squishy. I always get my money back otherwise I would have never tried a 2nd time. but after the last time, I'm done. the store cannot pick get produce for anything.

I bought these strawberries right around Valentine's Day, and they were absolutely perfect! For a special treat, I used them to make chocolate covered strawberries, and they were gone almost instantly. Delicious, perfectly shaped, beautiful red color. Very nice!

It’s bad enough that the strawberries that are shipped are not the same same as local strawberries. That said I can usually say they aren’t as bad as they could be however, this batch all 2 pounds of them were terrible absolutely no taste and then where they touched each other small bruises, which don’t add to the flavor so tired of bad fruit. This was not the normal brand that I have received from Sams so I don’t know what the problem was but they were not good.

8 out of 10 times the strawberries are delicious, even if you gotta eat them all on the same day cuz they almost fermented. Those other 2, someone has taken half the strawberries out of every carton in every pallet but the bottom ones, and sometimes they leave bite marks in the ones left behind. But when they are good, they are so so good. It's worth it to go take a look, just choose wisely

The most beautiful berries to eat with or without whipped cream, lemonade drinks, frozen in place of ice, or in a simple sugar mix mashed and ready to go for a refreshing drink with sparkling water on the beach! Get you some today! Don’t forget to soak them for a few minutes to get rid of a little dirt that might be on any berries from nature.

I rated these three stars because quite honestly, it's virtually impossible to get good sweet tasting fresh strawberries. Many of them in the container had obviously unripened areas that needed to be cut out. About the only way I eat these in this condition is to chop them up, add sugar and put them over ice cream or biscuits with cream.

I bought a bunch of these around Valentine's day for my business and I was worried about the shelf life. I had a box left over from the holidays and has been in good shape for almost 3weeks, going to make some jam with them soon :) But, these have had a better fridge life than any other strawberries I've gotten in other stores.

The strawberries looked acceptable in the store, although not great. Once I got them home, I realized there were several bruises inside that did not show through the top or bottom of the packaging. The flavor was lackluster. Over the past couple of years, the quality of strawberries at Sam’s has really declined. They are not ripe enough or over ripe.
