Plan on eating these as soon as you get home. It is a roll of the dice as far as home shelf life with these berries. They are large, and sometimes you lose flavor in exchange for size. Instead of red berry through and through, you get hard white fruit in the center. And half the time they mold in a day or two (which they did this time). We ended up feeding the mushy remains to our chickens, which was easier than bagging them up and returning them.

The large fresh strawberries are Nicole and large. More attention needs to be the rotation and visual quality. The strawberries did not last one day after the purchase. They molded really quickly and more than half had to be discarded. The area is constantly picked over and patrons are often opening the packages because of the bad fruit.

These were not the best. They seemed past their prime, and were bruised. Also, I bought a bag of Envy apples that I had to throw away. They seemed fine, but when I opened the bag, the apples were very bruised and partly rotten. I should have taken them back, but I took the loss because I am immunosupressed and I did not want to risk COVID exposure.

Fresh, sweet with a beautiful crispy texture. They have not disappointed on the price, quality and size of these berries. I think we've gone through about 40 lbs this season alone and still going back for more. We even sliced and put some away in the freezer to enjoy in recipes post season.

I absolutely love a big container of nice size strawberries. Not to mention they're juicy and very tasteful! When I purchased them, I thoroughly wash them, and to make them last a little longer, I place a paper towel in the container and place the strawberries on top. Yum!!!

This was my first time using Sam's Club Order Online & Pick Up. I had ordered strawberries for pickup & the pickers chose strawberries that were ripe, delicious & sweet. Sam's Club's strawberries are always very good. I would definitely use the Order Online & Pickup option again.

THe strawberries are generally good. However too much unripe fruit with white stem area. Also, with the upc on the bottom of the package, it must be turned upside down to use the hand scanner, and in that process, my package came open and berries fell out. Please put the UPC on both the top and bottom label for sensible scanning at checkout.

Strawberries go up and down in prices at Sam's club all the time they always have the organic option 2 lb for like $9 or $10. I got the non-organic 2 lb for about 3 and 1/2. Dollars. My only issue is because it is such a big pack. You can't really tell which strawberries have a little bit of age to them or if they're starting to mold it, which kind of ruins a few of the other strawberries.

These strawberries were huge, but overly huge, just perfectly big and full. Flavor is very mild and crisp. Picking packs of fruit is always a gamble, and these packs have most often been full of quality strawberries, no trash. Perfect for cutting up as snacks/fruit salad, or eating as-is.

Way, way too ripe. Last only 36 hours. If used quickly they are fabulous. With Reddi-Wip real-dairy whipped cream they are wonderful... Not too sweet, a heavenly breakfast (sprinkled with toasted wheat germ?) or light, elegant dessert ... Not as good as Wimbledon's famous breakfast of Strawberries & Cream, but a close second! (Beware: Cool-Whip is NOT a substitute for real whipped cream on strawberries, both turn sour.)
