The only con is that pet hair clumps up and is left behind, it doesn't get vacuumed up. So easy to use and lightweight.

I expected more suction power but the machine is quiet so guess you can't have both. The trigger leaks on my hand while pressing the button for spray no matter what cleaning mode it is on. Maybe I got a defective model but I would consider other options before purchasing this unit again.

I'd been considering buying something like this for a while, and then was lucky to receive one through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I could not be happier with it. We have two cats and two kids, and all four of them make a mess on our rugs, carpets, and couches. This hydrosteamer has saved the day multiple times. As an example, one of our cats ate something that looked like a green bean but was clearly not food. We found the evidence of this on our cream-colored carpet, where the vomit had soaked in and created a green splotch. The hydrosteamer did the trick, and now the carpet isn't stained green. At all. At first I was nervous that this would be too intense of a product, and would damage residential products like rugs. But it's gentle.

It came at a great time because the rug in our living room had recently had coffee spilled on it. After reading the instructions, I set up the steamer and got to work. It was very easy to use and worked!! Now that is the cleanest spot on the rug. I will definitely use this for future spills and accidents.

TLDR; I really enjoyed using this steam cleaner -- it was super light weight so I could maneuver it around the house without issue, and the set-up was extremely quick. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to clean up smaller scale, fresh stains on rugs/carpets around their home. Now for some details...The set-up took about 5 minutes and you can just scan the instructions, overall it was intuitive. Once ready to go, it only takes a few seconds to get heated up and you can start treating the stains. I tried this in two areas - one that's higher traffic for our two large dogs with fresher stains (dirt / dust etc), and another area with more set in stains. In the end, the area with the set in stains didn't get fully cleaned, but the area with the fresher stains was treated well and I'd rate that cleaning around an 8/10. I also loved that you could see all of the dirt pulled out of the cleaned area in the used water compartment - satisfying to know it's really getting in there!! I have not yet needed to use this on any pet urine stains, but definitely expect it'll be quick clean up with this little machine. My only call out for users is that the machine is quite small, thus you'll go through the water in it quickly. For that reason it's definitely better for smaller spaces or spot treatment, I wouldn't recommend this if you're trying to clean a full 9x12 rug, for example.

I will say - when I first heard it was arriving - I was ecstatic! I have three kiddos + a dog with multiple surfaces, so things in our household take their serious share of wear + tear. I was especially interested in using on several lighter colored (washable) rugs that are larger in size. The rugs were purchased specifically for their easy clean / maintain feature. Since the rugs are so large (9x12), I thought this little machine would be perfect to clean up some dingy looking areas. What I will say to start is this - directions were extremely straight-forward; the machine required virtually no set-up; it was light weight; + really easy to use. The cord is also pretty long, so I didn't find myself lugging the machine around to clean varying areas of the floor. What I was a little disappointed in was the overall performance. I used all cleaning attachments, tried all settings + I'm not overly impressed with the way my rugs turned out. I will also add - it was easy to clean + worked great on several surfaces (tile, wood). I attempted on upholstery as well - it was sub par. I am willing to give the product a few more uses - and try changing out the cleaning solution to a varying type (I used only what was included in the product package. I will also say it's a nice touch to add two of the cleaning solution bottles, rather than make you purchase in addition up front. All-in-all - I still have some hope + this won't be making it to the corner of the garage where the island of misfit purchases + no longer used products is located just yet.

This product has been a blessing and already come in quite handy for the short time that we have had it. It was quick and easy to set up right out the box. I love that there are multiple functions to select based on the type of stain that I want to tackle... steam, wash, or 'steamwash' modes have all been perfect to handle different types of messes. It is very easy to switch between the modes and change the attachment hoses/scrubbing options. The dirty water tank has a large capacity and is easy to empty and rinse. Overall, I have been very happy with this product and look forward to seeing more of what it can do! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me an opportunity to test this product... it has been a wonderful addition to our home!

The initial setup can be a little overwhelming but once it's set up, everything works smoothly. I received this part as part of a product testing panel and I must say - the multipurpose steamer/vacuum makes this superior among others in the market.
