I have been wanting to try one of these machines for awhile now. I have white furniture with 2 toddlers and 2 dogs so spills and stains are practically a daily occurrence. I have a large stand up carpet cleaner with hose attachment but I avoid using it because it is big, bulky and takes a lot of effort to use. The Little Green HydroSteam pet has quickly become my favorite cleaning appliance! It's not too heavy, compact and so easy to set up and use. From set up to use only takes about 3 minutes. I used this machine on everything including my bar stools, arm chairs, couch and rug. I was shocked at how effective it was at getting stains out. We're talking anything from marker, chocolate, dirt and strawberries. I mostly used the hydro steam setting. The steam was ready in 15-30 seconds. I was shocked at how much dirt was removed. I really love how versatile this machine is! You can use it on so many types of fabrics and surfaces and it does not damage. I can't recommend this product enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with how lightweight and portable the Little Green Hydrosteam (pet) carpet cleaner is to move around the house for spot cleaning. Some of the stains and spots that I used the Bissell cleaning solution and carpet cleaner on had been there for years. Just by spraying the cleaning solution on the stains, letting it sit for 5 minutes, and then scrubbing with the Bissell nozzle brush, the stains came up! The suction of the carpet cleaner was enough to pull up the solution, and the stain, allowing the carpet to dry fast. Setting up the carpet cleaner was easy, the short "quick start" instructions were helpful and got us moving right away. Cleaning the unit is very intuitive, nozzles and hoses detach with light colored buttons, right where you expect them to. The clean water tank and the dirty water tank are easily identifiable and simple to detach and reattach. This is a great addition to our household and will get tons of use over time. I received this portable carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but the opinions in this product review are completely my own.

It needs more clearance, I was hoping Bissell had feet or wheels for it but they don't. Although it looks like it has slots for some, maybe in the near future?

I used this cleaner on my living area rug but definitely see myself using the little green hydrosteam pet cleaner on many different surfaces of my home- tile, grout, and my sofas. The rug I have used it on is in a high traffic area so I really needed something to get in there deep and help freshen up the area. I love that the steaming mode only takes 30 seconds to heat up. The fast drying aspect is amazing. I have a toddler and a dog so being able to get stains out fast and easy is number one of my wishlist of cleaning machines. I also love that it is not super noisy so I am able to use it during my toddler's nap time/bedtime when I am available to clean. The only thing I wish so could change is the length of the power cord. I wish it extended a bit farther to get in hard to reach areas a bit easier. I highly recommend this product for busy parents out there, especially those with pets! It was small enough to carry around the house and also had enough water and steam to use for quite a while before refilling. The stains that I used it on were pretty newer and not super heavy. That being said, I don't know how this would perform on old or really large stains. The steamer was easy to set up and the sample solution it came with lasted me enough to clean most of the carpet in my home. I would definitely recommend this to someone with a small apartment and relatively smaller, not extensive stains. I was able to use this on my stairs which was super nice! My favorite feature was the easy toggle between steam/spray. I received this product through the stellar testing panel.

I'm very impressed with how effective and versatile this cleaner is, and am equally impressed with the results! We have a baby, 2 cats and a dog- so our furniture and carpets get more than enough wear and tear. What I loved about the machine is the steam feature- I was able to get into the cracks and crevices in our couch and nursery rocker, and feel confident that with the steam every part was getting cleaned. The brush attachments were very useful and designed in a user-friendly way. I was also a big fan of how fast upholstery and areas cleaned were able to dry due to the suction created as well. The only fault I noted was a small amount of spray that escaped the hose when taking off the brush attachment, but that very well could have been user error. Cleaning the machine after use was also easy- I only wish the cord was retractable into the machine. Instructions for use were clear and I really appreciate that each type of surface had explicit instructions too. Overall this is an easy and effective cleaner that will get plenty of use in my home!

The machine itself is very portable, with the cord control feature you don't dread going to the closet to get it out to solve a mess or rejuvenate some drapery or upholstery. The quick guide that comes with the machine is extremely informative and all you need in order to get started with utilizing the machine. My first order of business was to tackle our living room rug. This rug gets the brunt of the household traffic, therefore mystery spots and darker traffic areas show a lot more throughout the week. Following the quick guide, I input the instructed amount of solution/water ratio and got started on spot cleaning the rug. It worked tremendously. We have a cat, therefore you could see the machine working before your eyes while the cat hair was being sucked up and filtered during the cleaning process. The rug looks brand new! The next area I tackled was the couch -- the upholstery needs a bit of a rejuvenation every once in a while and that is exactly what the Little Green HydroSteam Pet was able to provide. I can't wait to make this part of the normal cleaning routine to ensure our furniture lasts many additional years. My favorite feature of the machine is that it is so compact and doesn't take up a lot of storage space. The cord management system and the wrap around hose allows easy storage and ease of grabbing to utilize.
