[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a busy working mom of two boys and an active golden retriever, stains are my daily life. I clean up, and before I know it, it's all back again. I was looking for an easy to set up, portable cleaner with a smaller footprint (b/c who wants to dedicate lots of space to storing this?!), that would successfully remove the toughest of stains. I was given this portable carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. I found the instructions to be really straight forward -- lots of visuals and not too many steps before I get going. There were a few tricks along the way however, but this is where videos come in handy! One I set it up, in very little time I was working away and I was pleased to see the stains just lifted themselves quite fast. I was able to quickly clean the stairs which get high traffic and have a very light carpet color - the carpet looks new again. The best part is looking at the dirty water at the end -- the satisfaction of knowing it was effective! And one of the best parts, it has a small footprint so I can easily store in a closet for easy access and frequent use (because I will need that!).

Set up was super easy, you take it out and select your attachment! You do have to wait about 30 seconds for the little light to turn orange and the steam is ready to go!! I cleaned velvet bar stools, play room couch cushion and even got a random gunk stain out of the carpet in the bedroom of 4 year old twins!! The tank was a great size and I was able to clean more than I thought with it! My favorite feature is the STEAM it packs a punch and gets the grime lifted without soaking your item! I didn't even have to look at the instructions or quick guide (although the quick guide is an awesome feature!). I had a stuck-on pet stain that my last cleaner could not remove and this little beauty pulled it out with no trouble at all! I love the sleek look of this unit and the compact design. My only minor complaint is that it was a little on the heavier side. Other than that it is the perfect machine and a must have especially if you have a toddler AND dog like myself! So thankful to Stellar Product Testing Panel for this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had cheaper machines with better quality in build and performance. The steam feature is nice but rarely used for the messes I have. I expected more suction power but the machine is quiet so guess you can't have both. The trigger leaks on my hand while pressing the button for spray no matter what cleaning mode it is on. Maybe I got a defective model but I would consider other options before purchasing this unit again.

We have two little ones at home who prefer to use anything fabric to wipe their hands instead of wipes/tissues. This machine is perfect! It is compact and works extremely well which makes it easy to keep within our closet and not tucked away with the larger home appliances. I have taken this out several times just to spot clean since it is very convenient. The steam feature is also a game changer as I feel like it really helps cut down on the time needed to lift the stains if you were to attempt this without the steam feature. The instructions were straightforward and easy to assemble and get to cleaning. The machine is also simple to clean once done which is a plus. I look forward to using this often and on items beyond fabric material. I'm thinking grout in the bathroom and floors will be my next project to steam! Super excited. While I don't have any pets, I have hard wood floors with lots of different types of rugs that I wanted to be able to clean as well as it be versatile enough for other upholstery as needed. The machine was super easy to set up and directions were very clear so I could use it right away. Was able to get the purple stain out of my carpet easily and because of its size, can easily store and pull out as needed. I used it on a new stain(urine on my new light grey couch) and it got it out completely! I also used it on older stains(from food and kids) on my dining room chairs, and they all came out completely too! It is so easy to use and the quick instruction guide on the machine was super handy! This little machine was messy but effective. It sprays moisture (sorry I hate that word too) everywhere, so I had to clean up after the clean up and do some soaking up with towels in a few instances. The sucking function of the machine is not quite as strong as I'd hoped. That said, my son is autistic and takes medicine to sleep through the night AND is potty training, you can imagine the number of wet sheets we've changed. Also, his mattress had an enormous yellow stain. This machine lightened the coloring all over and completely removed it in some spots. Also used it on our couches - kids, and cats, and dogs - it did a fabulous job on the cushions. Again, this is not a targeted spray so make sure you put towels down on your hardwood floors or you'll land on your behind as you walk away. Not that I would know that from firsthand experience or anything. It does what it's intending to do and is easy to use.
