[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a busy working mom of two boys and an active golden retriever, stains are my daily life. I clean up, and before I know it, it's all back again. I was looking for an easy to set up, portable cleaner with a smaller footprint (b/c who wants to dedicate lots of space to storing this?!), that would successfully remove the toughest of stains. I was given this portable carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. I found the instructions to be really straight forward -- lots of visuals and not too many steps before I get going. There were a few tricks along the way however, but this is where videos come in handy! One I set it up, in very little time I was working away and I was pleased to see the stains just lifted themselves quite fast. I was able to quickly clean the stairs which get high traffic and have a very light carpet color - the carpet looks new again. The best part is looking at the dirty water at the end -- the satisfaction of knowing it was effective! And one of the best parts, it has a small footprint so I can easily store in a closet for easy access and frequent use (because I will need that!).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little steam cleaner is my new favorite tool! I've used it on rugs, upholstery and our LPV floors. It lifted a stain on my rug another tool could not. The various settings for cleaning versatility are awesome but my favorite feature is that the collection tank and the scrub brush can be cleaned easily and thoroughly after use. This was my biggest pet peeve with a previously used cleaner. One of the dirtiest jobs I used this for was a diaper blowout. Obviously I couldn't vacuum the dog hair and whatever else was on the rug first so it was even more critical that I was able to thoroughly clean the brush and the tank after use. This is an A+ product! Thanks for letting me keep it Stellar Product Testing, we have a lot more cleaning projects to tackle with this little beast.

I just got this product and mostly to clean my area rug and spot messes on the floor. What is great about it? I have been on hand and knees with scrub brush, Used the clean and vacs, rented rug cleaners and never has my area rug gotten clean. Heavy traffic areas are just as dirty and dingy. I finally threw up my hands and got this little portable steam cleaner. My area rug looks fantastic. Colors are alive. Light color are not dingy but, bright. It's so wonderful to see this after the steaming and cleaning. And it did not take that long. It was alot fun emptying the black water knowing it is not in my carpet now. Not so great - It would be nice to have a long hard tube you can use to do work standing up - like cleaning a large area. You ask who is the primary mess maker - it's equal parts husband, and pets. And I contribute especially during gardening season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this Little Green Hydrosteam cleaner! Right out of the box there is a quick guide instruction as well as a more thorough instruction manual. I appreciate the quick guide when you're in a hurry to try something new! It has 3 settings for you to use based on the stain you're trying to tackle; wash, steam or a combo steam/wash. It came just in time after a stomach bug ran though our house. I used the steam/wash on our couch and carpet that were victims of the bug and it took the mess right out. It is small and portable to easily carry around the house but the tank is big enough that you're not refilling it multiple times for one area. I was able to use the same tank for both the carpet and the couch before I had to refill. The suction power of the hose is strong so you know it's pulling up the dirt. If that wasn't enough, it's both kind of gross but also satisfying to see the dirty water in the tank when you are done cleaning. I wish the box came with more cleaning solution to get you started. If you're purchasing this I would suggest grabbing a bottle of the solution as well. With 4 kids and a dog, I know my husband and I will be using this machine for a long time for many messes! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Green Hydrosteam Pet is such a handy cleaning product to have! The sleekness and portability of this product is so important. I used this cleaner on my living area rug but definitely see myself using the little green hydrosteam pet cleaner on many different surfaces of my home- tile, grout, and my sofas. The rug I have used it on is in a high traffic area so I really needed something to get in there deep and help freshen up the area. I love that the steaming mode only takes 30 seconds to heat up. The fast drying aspect is amazing. I have a toddler and a dog so being able to get stains out fast and easy is number one of my wishlist of cleaning machines. I also love that it is not super noisy so I am able to use it during my toddler's nap time/bedtime when I am available to clean. The only thing I wish so could change is the length of the power cord. I wish it extended a bit farther to get in hard to reach areas a bit easier. I highly recommend this product for busy parents out there, especially those with pets! It was easy to set up and took only a few minutes to be ready to clean. The power of the machine was incredible for the size and portability. I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old 70lb Bernedoodle puppy so there is always a mess to clean up. I often will delay tackling tough stains because they never actually come out.... Until now. It was able to remove a sticky unknown residue from my carpet that I had assumed would be there until we replaced the carpet. We had professional cleaners try and remove the spots without success. This machine got them out!! Other stains I successfully removed without hassle: dog puke that left a green tint to my carpet, chocolate protein shake spill & for fun I tried our ugly pink tile grout. Additional likes: - Light & easy to move around the house. - Long electrical cord with shorter suction hose = extremely portable & lightweight - First use guide attached to the machine = easy reference for quick clean up of any stain. - Short water tanks were able to be filled in my shallow bathroom sinks = time saver since I could use the sink closest to the mess to fill up the tanks. - Water/cleaning tank had permanent lines indicating water or cleaner solution levels for small or large areas = easy to ensure the proper mixture for the job without needing to find & reference another manual or use any other measuring tools. - The clear plastic 5" flat attachment provided visibility to what was being pulled from the carpet. You could see if you had water & soap which helped know to keep suctioning or if you could stop. - Steam was ready in 30 seconds and was indicated with a light. Instructions were accurate about the time. = provided confidence in the product & set clear expectations. - Clean/dirty water tanks were easy to remove & open even with weak hands/fingers and dexterity issues. - Can be used even with pet hair & other debris around the stain. It just sucks all of the dirt and grime right up saving time and energy!

Being a parent to 3 kids and 3 animals- messes are a constant here! I used this on both ceramic tile and carpets, and was pleased with the results of both! Setup was a breeze- add water/cleaner, turn on power and go! Tile: I steamed our floors, and also our walk-in shower tile. In both cases, the grout and tiles themselves were noticeably cleaner. My husband noticed the entryway tile was cleaner as soon as he walked in the house (with a muddy dog, nonetheless so I had to do it all over again!) In our shower- the steam did awesome removing some hard water stains on our shower walls. I've been trying everything to get rid of them! Carpets: Spills happen here... a lot. Each time I got the steam cleaner out, I was able to completely erase the stain. Our toughest was some red juice, but after a 2nd round of cleaning, there wasn't even a hint of red left. I was able to also clean my carpeted stairs easily, something I struggle to do with a larger cleaner. Favorite features: - love the steam -easy to use -portable/lightweight -long power cord -water fill/empty is easy -tools disassemble easily to thoroughly clean between uses Con: -wish the hose was a longer -wish it came with a thin attachment for areas such as windowsill/base of sliding glass doors/corners -wish it had more suction power, I found it struggled to clean up pet hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works so well on set in stains as well as pet accidents! The steam setting is great for getting those pesky annoying stains out. The only con is that pet hair clumps up and is left behind, it doesn't get vacuumed up. So easy to use and lightweight.
