[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to spot clean in my home as well as clean the upholstery in my vehicles. Not sure what the bad reviewers are talking about. The steam generated by this machine can ans will burn your hand if placed near the discharge port on the handle. Another reviewer mentions a leaky tank when handled? Never had any issue with either tank leaking. My only complaint with this is the fact that Bissell doesn't tell you what the part # is for the self cleaning tool. My unit didn't come with it. Other than that, its a great machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It isn't so much as a stream machine as it is a humidifier. Steam is actually hotter than boiling water, hence the reason it actually chemically separates and goes from a liquid to a gas form. In any case, it's supposed to be hot. Whatever this thing is doing the "steam" is cold and whatever cleaning properties bissell markets it having, it cannot possess. It otherwise functions like their other spot cleaners where you honestly have to massively pretreat old stains and vacuum them several times. Their steam setting is just a gimmick.

This machine looks really nice coming out of the box. It comes with 3 different heads and a bottle of solution. I found it easy to figure out with quick start guide and manual. The tank has lines on it for water and solution so it's very easy with no measuring. I tried it on the upholstery of a dining chair. I had given up on it due to it being so stained but I was very impressed. I watched the stains disappear before my eyes! It definitely worked. I did find it hard to hold down the steam button for after awhile. It might be hard to use for someone with arthritis. Otherwise it was very easy to use and satisfying because I could see it working in real time. After I was done with the chair I was looking for more things to clean! What was also satisfying was looking at the dirty water tank (yes it separates dirty water!) and seeing the amount of dirt it took out of just one chair cushion. Wow! I tried the multi surface tool on my floor tile and I don't think it's the best tool for that as it's hard to get leverage. I didn't notice a big difference on tile. It performed very well on fabrics and would be great to use on all kinds of upholstery, couches, and area rugs. I wish I had this item when my baby kept spitting up on the couch. It's perfect for those surface stains. It's also pretty compact and not too heavy. I can see using it upstairs and downstairs without a problem. Both the power cord and the hose stow away safely on the unit, making it very portable and easy to store. Because of this it is a great item for car upholstery and trunks as well. It's very versatile.

With two kids under four and a dog in the house, messes abound and they always seem to occur on our couch, upholstered dining chairs, and area rugs. I was very happy with how this machine tackled various stains. Upon receiving I had two stains I knew I wanted to try and remove right away. The first, an especially stained upholstered dining room chair. The second, a mystery dried yogurt that was on a couch cushion. To start, setup couldn't be easier! The machine comes with a starter bottle of the cleaning solution and the tank has clear marked lines for where to fill with water and solution. The included manual and quick start instruction are clear and got me started quickly. I decided to go the hard route first and tackle my very stained upholstered chairs. For background, we have owned these for 8 years, they are not stain guarded (regrets that cheap decision lol) and have never been professionally cleaned. I am so happy with the result! I opted to use the steam + clean solution and it was amazing how much dirt came off the seat. Are they perfect? No. However they dramatically better and I think going forward, they are going to look cleaner and be maintained if any future stains occur. Next up was my couch cushions. Again, I chose the steam + clean function and was so happy with the results. The mystery yogurt stains completely came up and I don't have to flip the cushion anymore! All in all - this machine is powerful, not as loud as I expected (still loud but also, yay suction power!) and lightweight. I also appreciate the intuitive knob design that lets you change the setting choice and clear light indicator for when the steam function is ready. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pulling this cleaner out of the box, I was happily surprised at how nice it looks! It is also very easy to set up with clear instructions and a helpful quick start guide. I love the portability of the Little Green ProHeat machine! It is lightweight, easy to carry around and the smaller footprint is great for storage. It may be smaller but it has powerful suction and is quite effective at deep cleaning and removing stains that had been in our carpet and rugs for a while. It also sanitizes and cleans with its steam power. I really like that I can clean our carpeted stairs without lugging a vacuum up and down them now. I've also been wanting something that I could clean with in our minivan and this thing removed stuck on messes and dirt wonderfully. I found the hose and cord are ample lengths for what I need. It might be nice to have a battery powered option in the future if I needed to clean my car and wasn't near an outlet but I wouldn't want to compromise power for added convenience. Also, keep in mind that this is a smaller appliance and isn't intended to clean the carpet of an entire living room like a full size version would. I think my favorite feature is how versatile it is. I can use it to clean up a mess on the kitchen floor, then a stain in the living room carpet, then sanitize my bathroom floor all by easily switching tools and modes. I am very impressed and happy with it overall! I've already recommended it to a couple mom friends as it is especially helpful if you have pets and kiddos! I have two rowdy kids and a dog who always are guaranteed to leave a mess or stain. This thing is a beast! It’s the magic eraser of portable carpet cleaners. The 3 options makes it very versatile. However, my go to is the steam/solution setting. Knockout just about any stain I’m trying to get rid of. I use it on my carpet, beds, couches, chairs, just about everything that is upholstered. All I can say is whoever the engineer is that came up with this design. Give that person a raise, because this made my life way easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this steam cleaner a few times a week since I got it and I have loved it. It is perfect for spills on tile and carpet. I have a Newfoundland dog and 3 small kids and somehow no one has had any potty accidents since I got the cleaner, but I imagine it will be great for that too. We have had another small BISSELL portable carpet cleaner since we got our dog 6.5 years ago, so I was so excited to upgrade and I received the Little Green as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have used it on couches, rugs, carpet and in the bathroom on the tile around the toilet. It has worked wonderfully on all of those surfaces. There are no remnants of mess and it is pretty quick to clean small areas. I wouldn't recommend it for cleaning carpet or rugs as it is really meant for cleaning messes and cleaning a large area takes too long. The biggest things it works well for are couches and car interiors. I'm not stressed about messes because of this little machine. It was intuitive to set up and isn't intimidating to learn or use. 10/10 for me.

I have two dogs at home who occassionally leave messes on the carpet. This product is nice because I can focus just on the stains without having to use a large cleaner, meant for the entire room. There were two pet stains in my family room that had been sitting for a couple weeks. The Little Green Hydrosteam Pet cleaner was able to break through those stains with just a couple passovers. Each stain took less than a minute to clean. The cleaning solution that came with the product smelled great and did not discolor the carpet. I am definitely looking forward to tackling some upholstery stains on my dining room chairs to get out years of stains and grime. Overall, I'm satisfied with the cleaning power and portability of the machine. I no longer have to pull out my fullsize carpet cleaner simply to clean up a small pet stain!

This product has been a blessing and already come in quite handy for the short time that we have had it. It was quick and easy to set up right out the box. I love that there are multiple functions to select based on the type of stain that I want to tackle... steam, wash, or 'steamwash' modes have all been perfect to handle different types of messes. It is very easy to switch between the modes and change the attachment hoses/scrubbing options. The dirty water tank has a large capacity and is easy to empty and rinse. Overall, I have been very happy with this product and look forward to seeing more of what it can do!
