The initial setup can be a little overwhelming but once it's set up, everything works smoothly. I received this part as part of a product testing panel and I must say - the multipurpose steamer/vacuum makes this superior among others in the market.

The Little Green HydroSteam Pet has been a lifesaver to our house! We have a rambunctious dog that brings outside messes inside constantly, as well as a toddler! Needless to say, this is a must have for any house that attracts messes! Right out of the box, this is the most beautiful vacuum I have seen- matte black and rose gold really bring some elegance to the machine and it makes it aesthetically pleasing to place in our home. The machine was easy to set up out of the box-barely any assembly. The instructions could have been a little more detailed as far as written descriptions but the photos were helpful. I love the large side containers for the water/solution and the dirty water tank. They are easy to remove and clean out! We had a mess on a new rug: coffee spill! There are 3 convenient setting options, so we used the SteamWash to lift the stain and wash it out. It worked very well! I used the multifunction tool to first lightly scrub the stain out with the solution mix, and then used the large Tough Stain Tool to suction up the stain and water on the rug. I was pleased with the results! I tested the steam function on curtains and it worked well too! One draw back is in order to use the steam function, you have to hold the hose over the sink or a bucket to allow the steam setting to "kick in"; while doing this water will squirt out of the attachment until steam starts to come out; additionally, water squirts out every once in a while while in Steam mode. The attachment hoses are also very substantial and have a lot of scrubbing options on them for different surfaces. One of my favorite parts of this machine is that the attachments all fit nicely on the vacuum! It makes it easy to store away. It's super easy to switch between the different modes. This product is definitely a great option if you have a lot of carpet or your pets go on your cloth furniture often!

Therefore, dog paws and kids' feet are constantly tracking black oily tar fragments into the rugs and on the couch. It's nearly impossible to clean -- but WOW -- I am SO impressed with how this steam cleaner lifted those nasty particles up and away. I received this cleaner as part of a Stellar Panel Review testing group. Thrilled at the results. Truly, I've been frustrated trying to find a solution to the tar messes. Every other cleaning method I have tried has left a dull oil-like stain. This little hydro cleaner is really impressive, the way it uses heat to remove the baked in tarballs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to spot clean in my home as well as clean the upholstery in my vehicles. Not sure what the bad reviewers are talking about. The steam generated by this machine can ans will burn your hand if placed near the discharge port on the handle. Another reviewer mentions a leaky tank when handled? Never had any issue with either tank leaking. My only complaint with this is the fact that Bissell doesn't tell you what the part # is for the self cleaning tool. My unit didn't come with it. Other than that, its a great machine.

THIS MACHINE HAS A LOT OF HYPE ON YOUTUBE ABOUT HOW GOOD IT IS? RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, THIS HAS NO STEAM, JUST SPITS WATER, NO SUCTION. IT DIDN'T EVEN SUCK ANY DIRTY WATER INTO THE TANK!! BISSELL WANTS TO REBUILD THIS PIECE OF JUNK FOR YOU, BUT I AM RETURNING MINE FOR A REFUND. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SO WILL YOU BE! **GARBAGE**

I didn't even have to look at the instructions or quick guide (although the quick guide is an awesome feature!). I had a stuck-on pet stain that my last cleaner could not remove and this little beauty pulled it out with no trouble at all! I love the sleek look of this unit and the compact design. My only minor complaint is that it was a little on the heavier side. Other than that it is the perfect machine and a must have especially if you have a toddler AND dog like myself! So thankful to Stellar Product Testing Panel for this!

I'm very impressed with how effective and versatile this cleaner is, and am equally impressed with the results! We have a baby, 2 cats and a dog- so our furniture and carpets get more than enough wear and tear. What I loved about the machine is the steam feature- I was able to get into the cracks and crevices in our couch and nursery rocker, and feel confident that with the steam every part was getting cleaned. The brush attachments were very useful and designed in a user-friendly way. I was also a big fan of how fast upholstery and areas cleaned were able to dry due to the suction created as well. The only fault I noted was a small amount of spray that escaped the hose when taking off the brush attachment, but that very well could have been user error. Cleaning the machine after use was also easy- I only wish the cord was retractable into the machine. Instructions for use were clear and I really appreciate that each type of surface had explicit instructions too. Overall this is an easy and effective cleaner that will get plenty of use in my home!

It is also very easy to set up with clear instructions and a helpful quick start guide. I love the portability of the Little Green ProHeat machine! It is lightweight, easy to carry around and the smaller footprint is great for storage. It may be smaller but it has powerful suction and is quite effective at deep cleaning and removing stains that had been in our carpet and rugs for a while. It also sanitizes and cleans with its steam power. I really like that I can clean our carpeted stairs without lugging a vacuum up and down them now. I've also been wanting something that I could clean with in our minivan and this thing removed stuck on messes and dirt wonderfully. I found the hose and cord are ample lengths for what I need. It might be nice to have a battery powered option in the future if I needed to clean my car and wasn't near an outlet but I wouldn't want to compromise power for added convenience. Also, keep in mind that this is a smaller appliance and isn't intended to clean the carpet of an entire living room like a full size version would. I think my favorite feature is how versatile it is. I can use it to clean up a mess on the kitchen floor, then a stain in the living room carpet, then sanitize my bathroom floor all by easily switching tools and modes. I am very impressed and happy with it overall! I've already recommended it to a couple mom friends as it is especially helpful if you have pets and kiddos! TLDR; I really enjoyed using this steam cleaner -- it was super light weight so I could maneuver it around the house without issue, and the set-up was extremely quick. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to clean up smaller scale, fresh stains on rugs/carpets around their home. Now for some details...The set-up took about 5 minutes and you can just scan the instructions, overall it was intuitive. Once ready to go, it only takes a few seconds to get heated up and you can start treating the stains. I tried this in two areas - one that's higher traffic for our two large dogs with fresher stains (dirt / dust etc), and another area with more set in stains. In the end, the area with the set in stains didn't get fully cleaned, but the area with the fresher stains was treated well and I'd rate that cleaning around an 8/10. I also loved that you could see all of the dirt pulled out of the cleaned area in the used water compartment - satisfying to know it's really getting in there!! I have not yet needed to use this on any pet urine stains, but definitely expect it'll be quick clean up with this little machine. My only call out for users is that the machine is quite small, thus you'll go through the water in it quickly. For that reason it's definitely better for smaller spaces or spot treatment, I wouldn't recommend this if you're trying to clean a full 9x12 rug, for example.
