It's the perfect little package, but it sure can pack a punch in terms of performance. I was immediately wowed by the compact size and light weight of this machine, which makes it easy to carry around and store. It's also easy to use. I did use the guide to get started, but it's really intuitive, so it does not take long to learn how to fill and use it. I was impressed with this machine before even turning it on, but it really blew me away when I started using it. I had a number of spots and stains on our family room carpet as a result of our messy kids and naughty pup, and the Hydrosteam Pet dealt with all of them with ease. I could see the stains being lifted right out of the rug immediately and the stains were completely gone with minimal effort. Both food stains and dog accidents were done within minutes! I happily moved up to our bedroom and was happy to find the same results! I have also tried my Hydrosteam Pet on some dingy looking grout in our mudroom, and it lifted much of that grime away. I will try again to see if I can get any more up, and our master bathroom shower is up next! I raved so much about it, my Mom now wants a turn, so I'm packing it up today to bring to her to try out. This machine looks really nice coming out of the box. It comes with 3 different heads and a bottle of solution. I found it easy to figure out with quick start guide and manual. The tank has lines on it for water and solution so it's very easy with no measuring. I tried it on the upholstery of a dining chair. I had given up on it due to it being so stained but I was very impressed. I watched the stains disappear before my eyes! It definitely worked. I did find it hard to hold down the steam button for after awhile. It might be hard to use for someone with arthritis. Otherwise it was very easy to use and satisfying because I could see it working in real time. After I was done with the chair I was looking for more things to clean! What was also satisfying was looking at the dirty water tank (yes it separates dirty water!) and seeing the amount of dirt it took out of just one chair cushion. Wow! I tried the multi surface tool on my floor tile and I don't think it's the best tool for that as it's hard to get leverage. I didn't notice a big difference on tile. It performed very well on fabrics and would be great to use on all kinds of upholstery, couches, and area rugs. I wish I had this item when my baby kept spitting up on the couch. It's perfect for those surface stains. It's also pretty compact and not too heavy. I can see using it upstairs and downstairs without a problem. Both the power cord and the hose stow away safely on the unit, making it very portable and easy to store. Because of this it is a great item for car upholstery and trunks as well. It's very versatile.

We have a large, active dog in the house as well as two playful cats, and they definitely put our furniture and flooring through its paces. Plus, our house is older and has very few outlets which are mostly in inconvenient locations from the chairs and sofa. With the Little Green Cordless, I can pull out all the stains and spills that get on our carpets/upholstered furniture without having to worry about finding an outlet nearby or digging out an extension cord! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a busy/active household, especially if you have pets and especially if you need the convenience of portability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive this product. Since I am at the age where home products are exciting - I couldn't wait to put this to the test. We have two little ones at home who prefer to use anything fabric to wipe their hands instead of wipes/tissues. This machine is perfect! It is compact and works extremely well which makes it easy to keep within our closet and not tucked away with the larger home appliances. I have taken this out several times just to spot clean since it is very convenient. The steam feature is also a game changer as I feel like it really helps cut down on the time needed to lift the stains if you were to attempt this without the steam feature. The instructions were straightforward and easy to assemble and get to cleaning. The machine is also simple to clean once done which is a plus. I look forward to using this often and on items beyond fabric material. I'm thinking grout in the bathroom and floors will be my next project to steam! Super excited. I have two dogs at home who occassionally leave messes on the carpet. This product is nice because I can focus just on the stains without having to use a large cleaner, meant for the entire room. There were two pet stains in my family room that had been sitting for a couple weeks. The Little Green Hydrosteam Pet cleaner was able to break through those stains with just a couple passovers. Each stain took less than a minute to clean. The cleaning solution that came with the product smelled great and did not discolor the carpet. I am definitely looking forward to tackling some upholstery stains on my dining room chairs to get out years of stains and grime. Overall, I'm satisfied with the cleaning power and portability of the machine. I no longer have to pull out my fullsize carpet cleaner simply to clean up a small pet stain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently received the Little Green HydroSteam Pet from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out. We own an 60 lb dog that sheds constantly. The cleaner did an amazing job in removing dirt, fur, and other stains from my cars fabric seats. We also had some stains that were there for years that the cleaner was able to remove. It's not 100% gone but at least 80-90% which is incredible especially since we didn't pre-treat the area beforehand. The cleaner itself was easy to set up. It came with enough cleaning liquid to completely clean my car seats with a little bit left over.

The only con is that pet hair clumps up and is left behind, it doesn't get vacuumed up. So easy to use and lightweight.

It needs more clearance, I was hoping Bissell had feet or wheels for it but they don't. Although it looks like it has slots for some, maybe in the near future?

I used it mostly on carpet and upholstery and was amazed at how quickly and easily this machine got the stains out. The HydroSteam machine was super easy to set up, and the quick start guide was simple to understand. I was able to use the product right away with ease. Not only did I use this product to remove stains from my carpet and furniture, I used the steam only feature to steam clean my toddler's toys, which was probably my favorite part! I love the versatility of the Little Green HydroSteam Pet, and I think it is a great product for households with pets, kids, or both! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Bissell vacuum, and was excited to finally have the money to buy this hydrosteam system to help clean up some carpet stains but mostly clean my couch. I don't have removable couch covers, so a portable cleaner is the only way I can clean my couch without calling in a professional. What an absolute disappointment. Their book tells you not to use their cleaning solution and to only use steam for upholstery - fine. When I start to use it, the steam barely penetrates the fabric, so it's not really doing much other than breathing hot air onto dirty fabric. I switch modes to "wash and steam" but all that does it shoot water out with a little steam to make the fabric wet, and leaving it wet. My favorite part of this process is that not only am I missing a cleaning nozzle that was supposed to be in the box, but the cleaning nozzle attachment I am using/did receive keeps coming unclipped from the hose if I try to put pressure on it to attempt to suck up the water that is being sprayed onto the upholstery surface. Not sure if I just got a faulty product, but for me to clean my couch and ottoman would take at least two hours, plus drying time. I was so excited for this product, especially because Bissell vacuums have become my favorite offer Dyson with two dogs that shed quite a bit. I'm more than just disappointed and frustrated with this product - I wish I had never wasted my time or money to purchase and try it.
