Works great for cleaning up puppy messes. We purchased this specifically for this reason and it's getting the job done! We have used every option it gives for cleaning, water, water and steam, steam only. Portable and very easy to empty and clean the machine.

Worked very well. I am going to purchase an extra water container to mark as rinse. So then, if I don’t use all of the soap and water mixture, I can keep that aside. But I do like to rinse the carpet after I’m done. It did need it. Machine does pull up a lot of the water out and the carpet dried fairly quickly. Definitely glad I got the wheels to help move around. It sounds very loud on the ceramic tile. But not as loud when on the carpet. I also purchased the top clear device to clean the tube and that worked really well. I had to remember to put fresh water in container, not the soap water mixture.

Stain cleaning is not for the weak, but it works! I had a Gatorade stain in a medium to light color rug that is a medium semi plush height. There are high gloss hard wood floors underneath. The stain was about the size of an 8 1/4” round plate and used the entire sample bottle of product that was sent. The longer you can let the product soak into the stain the better but I was worried because of the hardwood floors, so that made it a little difficult. I had to scrub a bit with the scrubber brush disconnected from the device so as not to suction the product too fast. The machine does the job, but I had to figure it out and problem solve. I wish the library of sample videos was a bit more expansive to show various types of materials being cleaned realistically. I want to know how much labor and time is expected for the job based on the machine I have.

I bought the Little Green HydroSteam Pet Portable Carpet Cleaner during the holidays and there were a ton of combo deals if you buy the cleaner you would also get a regular steamer. That did not come with the carpet cleaner for my purchase despite my clicking on that option. I have used the carpet cleaner already and it works as expected. I am pleased with it just not with the the bundle purchase that did not include the bundled equipment

I've only used it once and it did a fine job. I bought it as a replacement for a Spot Bot, since they don't make the Spot Bot anymore, sadly. I would've rather had a Spot Bot since you could just place it over the stain and it did the work. With this product I have to get down on my knees and lean over the mess and use elbow grease to rub the stain. And there's a hose, unlike with the Spot Bot, that the mess has to travel through, so you wonder about how disgusting that is getting inside. Please, please, bring back the Spot Bot.

I typically use this machine to clean carpets on the stairs. It does an adequate job of cleaning. Here is what I don't like: 1. The steam is not consistent. after initially started the steam quits in abut 10 seconds. It requires about 15 seconds to re start and just keeps cycling like this. 2. The manual says to take the wand and hold it above the soiled area and wet using back and forth motions. I would prefer to use this like a regular steam cleaner, where you can press the button and the spray would distribute fully across the width of the suction head. 3. The exhaust is underneath the unit, and the carpet will cover it, leading to poor suction. 4. The function selector icons by the knob, wear off very quickly.

Item took a long time to arrive, shipped from California. Came in its original package, not even taped shut. Most importantly...no steam. Went to website and tried all the troubleshooting tips, bit still mo steam. Vert disappointing. Also, no moving brushes. Seemingly completely useless for cleaning without the steam function. Just spits water down and sucks it back up.

The steam function does not work properly, and it just leaks water all over the floor. This is the second one of these I’ve had and both did the same thing.

Save your money. The so-called “steam” feature is not steam. It’s barely a warm mist. If you’re expecting anything close to actual steam cleaning power, you’ll be very disappointed. The unit sprays lukewarm moisture that does nothing to loosen stains, odors, or ground-in messes. For the price, this is a huge letdown. A standard Little Green without the “HydroSteam” gimmick performs just as well, if not better. The steam feature feels like marketing fluff added to justify a higher price tag. I tried this on multiple spots and upholstery with the same result every time: minimal cleaning power and a lot of wasted effort. If you’re dealing with pet messes or tough stains, this machine will not deliver. Bottom line: overpriced, underpowered, and misleadingly advertised. Don’t waste your money!!!

This machine leaks all over every time I use it, very difficult to empty all water out of the machine and hose after use prior to putting back in storage. I would not recommend. Makes more work for me. I will most likely throw mine away. Owned for four months.
