We currently have an upright pet vac and let me tell you, it is cumbersome to take out when you want to spit clean something. This Little Green Hydrosteam portable machine is a beast! It deep cleans stains that have been there for awhile! My husband and I didn't have any quick messes to clean up from our son or dogs for this review, but we do have a few things around the house that have just become dingy over time. Our coffee table has a fabric top where we put our feet up and the arms on our sofa have seen better days. Additionally, we have curtains on our french doors and the grease from the door hinges has been driving us nuts! After using the little green hydrosteam on all three areas, I can honestly say this thing works great! The couch arms look restored, the coffee table looks better than ever, and while not all the grease stains came out from the curtains, I think that it just needs another spot treatment to get it out. The only spot that didn't lift right away was the thickest part. My husband even said there is no way it would lift any of the grease and he was pleasantly surprised when it lifted! The machine is extremely easy to set up. We quickly glanced over the start guide, but truthfully it's pretty intuitive, including the buttons and functions. I love how this machine can be used anywhere and is super easy to use. Thank you stellar panel for allowing me to test this out!

This is a huge upgrade to a product I already loved. Things that I love: The steam: I used it for grout, window seals, tennis shoes, upholstery, and more. It was a little spotty sometime, but overall it made cleaning better! The dirty tank: SO much easier to clean than the regular green machine. You can scrub then inside with soap and water after cleaning up messes. The look: It's adorable. Being an adult is weird. This is not the first Little Green Machine that I have used, and it likely won't be the last, but it might be my favorite of those I've used. For background, I have two kids that are six and three, two dogs, and a husband. Stains and spills are a typical occurrence in my life. My two favorite features of this steam cleaner are not cleaning related, but important because this machine gets a lot of use. The first thing I noticed about this machine is how light-weight it was. I would not say that I spend an ample amount of time weightlifting, so was appreciative that my noodle arms could easily lift and maneuver this machine. The second thing that I fell in love with was how QUIET this machine was. I can clean and still have a conversation with my husband without even raising my voice. I was able to set up the machine with ease. I appreciated the quick guide, but I didn't even need it. It was that easy. I used the machine in a variety of locations: basement carpet, rugs, stairs, and plush bedroom carpet. I found the steam feature to be extremely helpful in getting some of my tougher stains out, but found the water only feature to be most handy on set in stains. The only place I wanted to try the machine on that I ran out of time before needing to review was tile grout. I would be extremely interested to see how it would work for that application. I gave the Little Green Machine 4 stars only because I didn't find that it removed stains that well. That said, some of my stains were very set in, so I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. All-in-all, I was extremely pleased with the versatility, ease of use, and cleaning ability of this machine. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this steam cleaner a few times a week since I got it and I have loved it. It is perfect for spills on tile and carpet. I have a Newfoundland dog and 3 small kids and somehow no one has had any potty accidents since I got the cleaner, but I imagine it will be great for that too. We have had another small BISSELL portable carpet cleaner since we got our dog 6.5 years ago, so I was so excited to upgrade and I received the Little Green as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have used it on couches, rugs, carpet and in the bathroom on the tile around the toilet. It has worked wonderfully on all of those surfaces. There are no remnants of mess and it is pretty quick to clean small areas. I wouldn't recommend it for cleaning carpet or rugs as it is really meant for cleaning messes and cleaning a large area takes too long. The biggest things it works well for are couches and car interiors. I'm not stressed about messes because of this little machine. It was intuitive to set up and isn't intimidating to learn or use. 10/10 for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the mistake of putting the clean water in the dirty water container, but after fixing that this little machine was super easy to use. I was able to clean my couch, then immediately clean the grout in my kitchen floor. It took out stains of who knows what (mom of three with one dog) on the couch while removing most of the dog hair. It did an AMAZING job on my grout - I'm going to tackle the bathroom next My only "complaint" is that I wish the nozzle had longer tubing. I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old 70lb Bernedoodle puppy so there is always a mess to clean up. I often will delay tackling tough stains because they never actually come out.... Until now. It was able to remove a sticky unknown residue from my carpet that I had assumed would be there until we replaced the carpet. We had professional cleaners try and remove the spots without success. This machine got them out!! Other stains I successfully removed without hassle: dog puke that left a green tint to my carpet, chocolate protein shake spill & for fun I tried our ugly pink tile grout. Additional likes: - Light & easy to move around the house. - Long electrical cord with shorter suction hose = extremely portable & lightweight - First use guide attached to the machine = easy reference for quick clean up of any stain. - Short water tanks were able to be filled in my shallow bathroom sinks = time saver since I could use the sink closest to the mess to fill up the tanks. - Water/cleaning tank had permanent lines indicating water or cleaner solution levels for small or large areas = easy to ensure the proper mixture for the job without needing to find & reference another manual or use any other measuring tools. - The clear plastic 5" flat attachment provided visibility to what was being pulled from the carpet. You could see if you had water & soap which helped know to keep suctioning or if you could stop. - Steam was ready in 30 seconds and was indicated with a light. Instructions were accurate about the time. = provided confidence in the product & set clear expectations. - Clean/dirty water tanks were easy to remove & open even with weak hands/fingers and dexterity issues. - Can be used even with pet hair & other debris around the stain. It just sucks all of the dirt and grime right up saving time and energy!

Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this portable carpet cleaner, it has been an amazing addition to my house. It was super easy to setup and figure out how to use. My first item I tackled was an ottoman we've had in my son's room for three years. There was a mysterious stain I wasn't sure how I was going to get out, but the Little Green HydroSteam Pet did the trick! In like five minutes! I've also tackled throw pillows that are spot clean only, chairs, and more. Of course my dog threw up on my brand new rug - I immediately went to get the cleaner and the throw up was gone - and the smell! My office is in an exterior building, so it was so handy to be able to carry this to my office to clean up quickly. I only wish it had a bigger adapter for a large area rug. And somewhere to store the adapters that are not attached to the hose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very excited to try it! It was easy to set up. Instructions were very clear. The amount of cleaner included was disappointingly small. Enough for two "small areas". The markings on the clean water tank for small area and large area do not seem appropriate for small area typical household cleaning. I cleaned three "small areas" averaging approximately two to three square feet each, leaving about half of the clean water and fluid in the reservoir. The first area i cleaned was a dark mystery stain about 12"x 12" and it completely removed the stain with just a few passes. Next I tried an older pet urine strain about 24"x24". I scrubbed it vigorously, but it barely made a dent in removing it. The third area was a 24"x24" heavy foot traffic area. This barely lightened. In summary, this product is small and versatile and perfect for maintaining new carpet looking its best for a long time, but not a miracle worker for older, ground in heavy stains. I feel if I'd had this a few years ago I may have been able to stay on top of the pet stains more effectively. Next I'm going to try it on some upholstered items.

TLDR; I really enjoyed using this steam cleaner -- it was super light weight so I could maneuver it around the house without issue, and the set-up was extremely quick. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to clean up smaller scale, fresh stains on rugs/carpets around their home. Now for some details...The set-up took about 5 minutes and you can just scan the instructions, overall it was intuitive. Once ready to go, it only takes a few seconds to get heated up and you can start treating the stains. I tried this in two areas - one that's higher traffic for our two large dogs with fresher stains (dirt / dust etc), and another area with more set in stains. In the end, the area with the set in stains didn't get fully cleaned, but the area with the fresher stains was treated well and I'd rate that cleaning around an 8/10. I also loved that you could see all of the dirt pulled out of the cleaned area in the used water compartment - satisfying to know it's really getting in there!! I have not yet needed to use this on any pet urine stains, but definitely expect it'll be quick clean up with this little machine. My only call out for users is that the machine is quite small, thus you'll go through the water in it quickly. For that reason it's definitely better for smaller spaces or spot treatment, I wouldn't recommend this if you're trying to clean a full 9x12 rug, for example.

THIS MACHINE HAS A LOT OF HYPE ON YOUTUBE ABOUT HOW GOOD IT IS? RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, THIS HAS NO STEAM, JUST SPITS WATER, NO SUCTION. IT DIDN'T EVEN SUCK ANY DIRTY WATER INTO THE TANK!! BISSELL WANTS TO REBUILD THIS PIECE OF JUNK FOR YOU, BUT I AM RETURNING MINE FOR A REFUND. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SO WILL YOU BE! **GARBAGE**
